I just found out my biopsy is melanoma. I’m getting my first PET scan tomorrow. I’m terrified. We didn’t think it was cancer at first.
I didn’t know cancer loves sugar. A reason to avoid sugar.
I’m claustrophobic and I’m terrified of needles.

I'm sorry I am just now seeing this. I don't do a very good job monitoring this page. I am hoping you got through your PET scan without too much worry and stress. Praying you've gotten good news

Hey Peter! I actually withdrew from the clinical trial, however, the clinical trial would have covered all the continued testing (MRI, etc), but any additional medicine or treatment as a result of the clinical trial (gastro issues, steroids, etc) I would have been using my own insurance to counter those costs.
