Glad to hear they are recovering. Prayers to those involved.
There was 5 of us and everyone is doing okay you can see me in the video helping my friends and our friend who’s critical is actually a minor and shes my best friend and the sweetest girl in the planet and as soon as i got up i tried to help everyone and i screamed across the street and those two ladies came
I played in that tree as a child. I remember that Banyan tree I was 14 when I moved to Saint Pete, and we played in that tree all the time.
Its a shame people do not know not to huddle under any type of tree during a lightning storm. Fortunate these folks survived hopefully without any long term issues.
I had only thought about it once we had been struck it was a dumb decision on our parts but I'm so glad we are doing okay
This new generation isn't very intelligent since it was literally common sense as a child not stand under trees during a Lightning Storm. But yeah no it's good that they are all survivors.
@@guesswho7315considering all of them are extremely bright kids I would watch your words. There are better and kinder things to say when something like this happens. Shame on you. My brother was one of them hit and taking a jab at their intelligence is sickening. Be kind.
@guesswho7315 - it's The Responsibility of ppl Older/hopefully wiser to Educate the younger ppl... I grew up in St. Pete, If a Storm was Coming, parents, grandparents, Aunts/Uncles.. Calling us To Get Inside.... It Was Drilled into Us... ppl have been struck from Lightening (and killed) when the Storm was 10 miles away ...
The Human Body/Brain doesn't Fully Mature until age 25ish... so They Need to be reminded every now/again... after, it's On Them...
@@spencerstrider1609 be smarter, teach them better then. This could had ended there life. And like someone just said it's on the parents and older family members. So guess the apple don't fall far from the tree
Still to this day I cannot understand why people feel the need to run under trees when a storm is coming absolute worst idea ever lightning can strike miles and miles away from the actual storm and trees are the perfect conductors and not to mention in Florida something called out of the blue Lightning happens rare but it does happen and that's when there is no storm in sight
I was struck in Lithia on the 19th. I drove to the ER.
I've lived in Florida for 55 yrs. and lightning is an almost ever present risk when outside even when it's not raining. Getting struck must be painful if you survive. I wouldn't mind dying from it.
goddamn they must have been shocked ... im so sorry
@@crazedblade2585 I really appreciate it but we are doing okay now I'm being released in the morning!
I prayed for the thunder and the rain to quietly pass me by-yie.
They lit up every room they walked into
Thats why you dont get close to a person who is going through heavenly tribulation
Damn so sad to know this 😞
I knew a guy who was olfing, the closest shelter was a tree, he and his friend didnt make it.i saw recently on you tube some people were struck on a beach.whats going on?
The witness tried to do cpr but they said the kids weren’t bike tires so it didn’t work.
Wow
Bill Hader? Is that you?
Everyone knows you never stand under a tree in a thunderstorm.
Clearly this generation doesn't.
Common sense isn't very common anymore
Disgusting comments. It was not about common sense at the moment. My brother was one of the boys sent to the hospital, be kinder. I am so grateful he and his friends are alive today. They had no idea that this would happen. As the older generation shame on you.
@spencerstrider1609 what was disgusting? The truth hurts I guess. When we we little kids we were told never go under a tree in a storm. For the very reason your brother got zapped.
@@DeathByFishing you never expect to be struck by lightning. Him and his friends didn't have a choice and were trying to get out of the storm when it happened. You're insinuating it was their fault for a momentary lapse of judgement. It's unkind. It is horribly condescending too.
@spencerstrider1609 not condescending at all. Perhaps your parents never taught you guys. Lightning hits the highest thing around. Usually trees. You live in Florida, you are taught this from kindergarten.
Did crazy Grady the celebrity sheriff have anything to do with this
I pray for those people that I hope that I'm glad they're all right but they cannot be from Florida because we all know about lightning that's where the it comes from the trees last week or two weeks ago in Orlando a kid was struck next to a tree please if you're going to move to Florida lightning
Damn she is 🔥
There can be no god.
