There's one Egyptian deity that I pretty much never hear about. He's Anubis' brother, Wepwawet. From what I recall, he was blue in color (or at least depicted as such) and he would help the deceased in their journey, fighting off dangers along the path.
Yes but alot of ancient priests deny that he's anubis's brother, the story of Osiris and Set's wife is proof

Each of them protects one of the sons of Horus and each of the sons is associated with a cardinal direction as well as protecting the organs of the deceased they're sealed away in canopic jars.

@Nubiamancy just had to flip the names. There is an L in the Greek equivalent which is what is on the opposite side.
One of my favorite "unsung" Egyptian Gods is "Bastet" the Goddess of Cats (amongst other things such at domesticity.) I first became aware of her in a Witchblade/Tomb Raider comic in which the heroes, Sarah Pezzini and Lara Croft, find themselves having to battle the ancient deity. Bastet does seem, in recent years, to be getting more recognition, probably why she was not mentioned in this video. I do like learning about other, lesser known, Egyptian Gods.

Egyptian mythology is a favorite of mine as well, but the Inca gods and mythology from Peru and Bolivia are criminally overlooked and underrated. I like them and Egyptian stuff equally.

Medjed is one of my fav unknown Egyptian gods. He looks like someone dressed up as a ghost using only a bedsheet😹 I love him for that alone and it’s amazing. Omg lol ANUKET!! This name came to me 3 days in a row and I was writing a story about a water God that I dreamt about. He lived in the river and his name was ETUKAN. I've had a past life in Egypt that I remember very vividly so when I saw ANUKET I was like hey sounds like ETUKAN. And it actually is the same name just written differently and the river god I dreamt about is a rebellious male river God. 🤣🤣🤣😅 Shocking lol

In my Buganda culture we had a King by the name of Kiggala who married her sister Nazibanja and they produced twin rivers known as Mayanja hence produced seas and oceans therefore it's not suprising to hear river Nile belongs to Osiris who married her sister and they produced Horus as well, therefore river belongs to Egypt and their God Osiris
