My favorite JRPG franchise of all time is still FInal Fantasy, but this franchise was a close second. It's a shame that there will never be another JRPG franchise like Breath of Fire ever again, no matter how many spiritual successors there are. It even feels like JRPG fans have forgotten as well and it's sad that even they've let this gem of a series slip.

Breath of Fire series is godlike. III is my favourite. IV is extremely atmospheric. II is a great JRPG and I is a classic. V isn't proper for the series but it's alright. The mobile thing was a disgrace. Shame on the developers for that.
