How on earth does this work?? This is so realistic! It reminds me of the story regarding the throne room of the Great Palace of Constantinople of the Eastern Roman Empire, wherein the throne room, there were automaton lions and Griffins that would roar upon pressing a lever to impress/intimidate a diplomat and a tree entirely made of gold and gems complete with automaton birds sitting on it that would sing. Had I not found this video, I would never have guessed that these automata sound so realistic!

This piece is amazingly beautiful . I am so glad this popped up in my feed . I may not be rich but i have found some vary rare items at garage sales and estate sales . My friends are amazed at how many beautiful things i have found . It's shocking how ppl will sell something valuable just to get whatever they can for it . It's actually sad . I suddenly remembered that as a child, I had a singing birdbox similar to this, only wooden and I think the bird's feathers were made out of paper or very thin wood. This made me sad.
