as a ex hauiler of english produce i can agree 'we loaded from field to market within hours not days sitting in a RDC rack but then back then most produce went on flat bed lorries with taupulin sheets in to the garden not inside temp controlled fridge lorries. still better to buy from the garden than the poxy supermarkets
