If batteries 112 and 113 are indeed connected, it makes sense that the BC station (battery commanders station) is directly between the 2 at equal distance. Most know this as the "concrete cottage" the house just in front of the radar. If they connect to 216, then that is a hell of a long way. The tunnels beneath battery 216 are in ruins, very dangerous with holes in the floor you can barely cross. I have a very good idea of the underground tunnels layout. I am in the process of mapping the entire known underground, based on facts I found digging really deep into the military history. I have been in 2 underground tunnel systems there and found a massively deep cavernous room (3 to 4 stories) inside one bunker. I have been inside many other underground structures at Camp Hero / Montauk Air force base, some of which are extremely dangerous / damaged or flooded.
Are all underground tunnels flooded? If not i would definitely like to explore. Im from nj and a friend of mine and myself have been researching this place
