- Grab your tiles and doodle art supplies and join me in learning how to draw these doodle patterns. I'm drawing three more easy Zentangle patterns for today's video: Springkle, Tortuca, and Umble. For step by step instructions and more information about these tangle patterns, check out tanglepatterns.com, a site run by Linda Farmer CZT.

Merci beaucoup pour cette belle vidéo 😊
So appreciate the tutorial with just music-so much easier to absorb by just the instruction-not a lot of words
So THAT'S how you draw them!! Thanks Emily :) :) :)
Thank you so much Emily, I really really enjoyed watching you create these Tangles. And I’ve learnt some different one’s too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Love the cat 🐱
Love your drawing and your lovely torti cat! Cats Rule!!
I agree!!! It is step by step. Thanks you!
I’ve been wanting to do zentangle for a while now so I bought the supplies I need but I’ve needed a teacher to watch to get started. Your videos by far are the easiest for me to follow along, so thanks👍❤
I'm glad you like them! Happy tangling. 🙂
I love Umble. Will definitely give it a go. Thanks ❤
Great video Emily! I like the background music especially
Glad you liked it!!
REALLY NICE! I also really like that dotted paper and glad you put a link for it here. Thanks.
Loved your video for a few reasons. The tangles you drew were easyh to follow. All three were nice ones, and your choice of music, for me, was perfect. thanks.
So glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
Happy Wednesday Emily I really enjoy this video I enjoy doing them with you my favorite are the 1 &2 thank you so very for sharing 🌞🤗🙏🏽💕💕💕💕
Thank you! 😊❤️
These are beautiful ♥️. Emily....ur sooo talented! I hope you’re feeling well, I’ve been praying for you girlfriend 💯🙏🙌
Beautiful cat! (Love the art too.)
So very nice to see your post. I was worried as I have not had a notification from you in a while.
Thank you. I was struggling for a bit, so it felt good to do another video again.
I love the dotted paper (and your lessons) so I have an idea how 'big' some lines has to be. I'm a beginner, so I'm learning. TFS!!
Happy tangling! 😊
Damn girl you’re good !!Thanks a million
As someone who is colour blind I find your shading in grey(?) crayon/pencil difficult to see. I never thought that I'd not be able to zentangle, as it's usually black and white. Wow. I'm truly stunned!
My camera settings/resolution may not be the best, but you can still Zentangle! If you'd like guidance on shading, hopefully other CZTs videos are useful. I will see what I can improve when I start creating videos again. Thanks for the feedback!
😊❤️
PS....your cat is soooo precious ♥️💯
What is that paper called? With the dots.
Thank you for sharing. Very nice video. May I ask which sketch book are you using?
Thanks! The sketchbook used here is this spiral dot grid notebook: amzn.to/31jWPu0 (affiliate link)
If you sit on the other side your hand would not block view.
Thanks fun lesson.
Thank you what size grid are you drawing on?
It's been a while, but I think the grid is .5cm, so the outlined boxes are roughly 5cm x 5cm. Similar to a Zentangle Bijou tile.
I do these over my alcohol ink backgrounds.
6:03 - what song do you use.
Sorry, I don't remember the name, all I can tell you is that I found it at Epidemic Sound.
I am wondering if the second one you did is tortuga instead of tortuca (tortuga is Spanish for turtle and the zentangle does look like a turtle’s shell)
Pattern names are often a play on words. I googled this one as tortuca and see it listed on tangle patterns dot com.
I love how this is set to 70s porno music at times, it actually made me stick thru the whole video which is a first!
I'll make a note for future vids. 😂
Where do you acquire the dot gridded paper?😊
The stuff I use comes from Amazon but just about any place that has sketchbooks or journals will probably have it too
