You don't have to beg that's a choice. My son's dad was kinda iffy on getting him it never was consistent. I had to realize you can't make someone cared or be responsible for their child. You just have to accept that and most importantly have self respect for yourself and diginity, begging should never be apart of the equation. Trust I know it sucks not to have free time, but we have to accept our choices and whatever consequences that come with them.

Went through this years ago when my daughter was very young. For short time I was not living very close so visits were few and far between. When we did get time together I made sure it was quality time. Co-parenting was hard but now my daughter is grown(28) and we're like best friends. All the pain you go through, the loneliness and the feelings of being a failure as a parent, if you just stick with it and show love all along the way everything works out.

They never seem to fix themselves. It isn't every case, but its pretty common. If dads care so much about being dads, stay in the family unit and make sacrifices.

I have a 5 yr old son me and his moms been separated for like 2 and half yrs but I don’t let our situation dictate the relationship with me and my son .. I tell my son mother my respect be on ten at all times and I expect the same in return .
