One of the best guest performances on a tv show ever! This is incredible! To think she isn't considered one of the best voices in the UK and is in the shadow of folks like Adele and Ellie lol

People lack a reference point. They listen to very compressed music (very often MP3 128 kbps) and the music itself is created with already limited dynamics. Popularizing sources (e.g. radio stations) promote only what has already gained public interest. Even better I like the cover by Lucy Thomas (recommendations!) And it's worth to mention: the original (by Snow Patrol) has never even drawn my attention.

One of best live vocals I've heard, and made better by managing to recover from sneezing in the middle of the song.
Forget Claudia. The moment everyone heard this they realised just how world class she actually was / still is.
I prefer Claudia S voice without a doubt but both have a phenomial voice on their own way.

People saying they prefer claudia's version are clearly just racially bias because Leona's version is clearly much stronger. She holds every note all the way through whereas claudia you could tell was at her limit with this song while leona Lewis sings it effortlessly. She made it look so easy. Claudia couldn't even hold her notes very long or put any extra runs to make it her own. She tried to copy leonas version and did "ok".

Claudia indeed a good singer, but i think Leona still the best in this "Run" song .. So many singer already tried this song before, but no one can make such heavenly voice that she did in minute 3:50-4:10 in a LIVE show.

This is good, but Leona’s performance of Run, on the Christmas top of the pops show just pips it. There, you can see her 🙏❤️really hit that emotive outpouring, in a smaller studio, and the choir reveal still makes my eyes leak…..

Leona's vibrato pitch variation & speed, feel & tone is superb.
The reverberated cry in her voice at 4.08 coupled with the gentle tilting of her head is so captivating.I've lost count of the number of times that I have watched this.For me, this is the best cover.
