glad ANYC was fun! removing the wrap from boxes is 100% an anti-scalping thing, being unwrapped means potential buyers are always risking the box was tampered with which means harder to resell
Fair enough, honestly I'm happier about it remembering stuff like Funko Pop scalpers from NYCC and their insane prices. Kinda sucks I couldn't rip the plastic myself but eh, minor inconvenience lol. Definitely gonna see what I can get at the convention next year 😌 👍
Yesss, gotta love scissors lol. And yeah, the pickups were awesome. The artist also had a premium looking Malenia pin, but I stuck with Black Swan. Maybe next year lol.
I think it’s smart of Bandai to do because it seems like they care a little more about the market then I thought!! Like they actually want people to get cards for retail and not have people make profit on it like it sucks that people can buy one and keep it sealed for a sealed collection but it’s also prevents people from buying a while bunch to resell which means more for people who actually wanna open them
Yeah, it's totally understandable. At first, I didn't like it simply cuz I like tearing the plastic lol. I'm still very happy that they're able to provide cards at retail tho since paying reseller prices sucks a lot of the time.

Great video, some nice pick ups. The Black Swan pin looked super premium
Big fan of using scissors too xD 🤝
