thanks for ur appreciation of this mature conversation. As long as there is this kind of music in africa there is hope. "if music be the food of life give an excess of it" Shakespeare in TWELTH NIGHT

What is wrong with me? I must be blind and deaf, because I never saw so many of your youtube videos that have been here for over a year!!! Apologies and compliments to you, scott! I guess it is time to subscribe to your video account! GREAT STUFF! You are lucky to live in one of the few parts of the USA where this music can be seen live, wow!

i agree to agree to disagree. enjoy ur drink. pardon me for the abscenities. Here in a little piece of literature for u. Kanda bongaman was once appointed cabinet minister in kabila sr's gvt. Patrice lumumba once frequented pubs in matonge kinshasa. Both mbila bell and bozi were involved in the recent congolese elections.i also refer you to wazekwa's interview on the launch of faux mutu moko boye in NY.

It is the socio-economic and political infrastructure that has either a -ve/+ve impact on music.Unfortunately you have decided to ventilate ur myopia and poor reading skills by negating detail. If u had looked closely at my comment below u would have noticed that there is reference to music. This is a public fora and pliz do us a favour and keep this site democratic and open as it is. By the way I do respect ur point of view for opinions r like asses everyone has got them.
