There is also the great Fela Kuti who is a radical pan-African musician. He came up with the genre called Afro beat which is jazz and african music. Hes like the Mozart of African music
second time stumbling across your vids, first was a medicinal strain review...now you're reviewing bobs hair..you got a new subscriber outta me bro. One love!
KNOTLOCKS I'd say that if you really want to freeform then just wash your hair, let it grow, see what happens, ain't nothing more fulfilling than that. It's a lesson in patience. I'm just over a year deep in my freeform game and honestly i've never gotten so many compliments for my hair before. It's an adventure but it's YOUR adventure! I'll stay subscribed to see what happens but I think that's probably the route that will give you more of what you're looking for. Good luck in whatever route you take, I hope you enjoy your new journey man.
I have watched a lot of your vids. enjoyed them all. surprised you have not done a review of all the reggae greats from the early years of the music. Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh, Jacob Miller, Gregory Issacs, Bunny Wailer, Eddie Grant. list goes on. I even would like to see reviews from band players from their Roots reggae Era(late60s70s) Steel Pulse they all got some mean dreads. Check out David Hinds from back in their day his dreads look like a chimney, standing vertical about a foot. good work though thanks for the vids
Love the way you ramble thru your video, most people it would be annoying, but bro there's something about your style that is more entertaining, me think it's the fact your just being yourself; truly who you are. And that's great, keep it up and God bless....
I think about Jamican artist locs too. Elephant Man, Tarris Riley, Sizzla, Jah Cure, Bob Marley's sons, etc. I would be curious to here your thoughts on them as well.
Mad to see how you was sceptical about freeform at the start and crochet your hair, now you’re fully freeform and combining the ones in the back imma freeform but imma let my hair get longer first and get a shape up or taper
so how did YOU get ur dreads? did you twist em up first then freeform? im confused on how to start, I wana have that free look to it but I want them to all be roughly the same thickness ,
You should do Gannett silk he is another reggae artist he had locs he died in a house fire he made really good music you should also check him out very positive vibe
I have a question.. I have a high temp fade and I want my hair to be nappy with freeform and I use a sponge and sprits every morning and night. How can I get freeform? Please reply
You Have good videos Do tracy chapman locs Nile rodgers locs and Dr alban's locs eddy grant locs and nasio fontaine locs &Do an update of stevie wonders locs peace🇯🇲☮👑🧠🇺🇸
Seen it. Great. 👏🏻 considering how long he grew his dreadlocks (17 years?) they didn’t look that long. Any theories as to why his hair grew so slowly? Compared to his son Damien who in the same amount of time grew to his ankles?? Pretty much anyone who grow their dreads 17 years or so their dreads would be much longer. But I love Bob Marley. He is what got me into reggae and into Rastafari.
Although i d oo get mines twisted marley was an inspiration to my locs . for another vid you should do some of the nfl olayers like marshwn lynch or larry Fitzgerald
many people are inspired to loc up due to Marley! such a huge role model. I love it cause many of his popular songs he's singing about god and the lord yet everyone doesn't seem to mind
I use this organic rosemary/mint soap i get from this lady's Esty page i think its called spiral touch you should check it out it works great for me dude!
I found this on the internet. How true is it "Although Marley sang and spoken about being a Rasta, some say he converted to Christianity before his death. Abuna Yesehaq, archbishop of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in the Western Hemisphere who died in 2005, admitted that he baptized Marley about one year before his death."
KNOTLOCKS well the main difference between Rastafarianism and Christianity is their beliefs in the messiah. Christians believe Jesus is the messiah and Rastas believe in Haile Selassie I as the messiah. A simple change of beleifs about who is the real Messiah would be is enough for Bob to change to Christianity. Well that's my thinking atleast
correct me if im wrong but dont pure rastafarians believe the messiah was an ethiopian emperor. i have heard of christian rastafarians. theyre practically the same minus who the messiah, which is very important.
There is also the great Fela Kuti who is a radical pan-African musician. He came up with the genre called Afro beat which is jazz and african music. Hes like the Mozart of African music
Fela Anikulapo Kuti is the Mozart of African music
Bob looked like a young Barak Obama with the short haircut.
Just Bob Marley. My inspiration. Thanks for the video! Continue in the same direction
Bob Marley poetic legend of reggae , dreadlocks ware his trademark , so that's the Bob Marley I love
second time stumbling across your vids, first was a medicinal strain review...now you're reviewing bobs hair..you got a new subscriber outta me bro. One love!

Rasta can be a religion to some, and a way of life to others. It’s just about appreciating the livity within us and around us.

Speaking of reggae artist, David Hinds from Steele Pulse has one of the most unique dreads I've ever seen!
So how do you get the afro bob has in the 9:00 mark? should you twist (manipulate) your fro or it just happens naturally?
I was watching this... but then I stopped. And, in my opinion, I'm all the wiser for it. PEACE

Abuna Yesehaq, archbishop of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church in the Western Hemisphere who died in 2005, admitted that he baptized Marley about one year before his death."
seems to be true!! I never even knew this myself. Makes you wonder why he chose Christianity last minute ?!
KNOTLOCKS well the main difference between Rastafarianism and Christianity is their beliefs in the messiah.
