As soon as a label, or type, or faction, or whatever you want to call it is established, then an ideal of perfection is established as well. After that, everyone in that group is judged according to that ideal, and may or may not even be considered to be worthy of being part of that group if they don't display enough of the attributes. This is true for Daddies, Bears, and everything else. The exclusion and elitism set in, and then people are on a treadmill to try to "become better" (aesthetically speaking) in order to be considered a good example of their respective "type" or group. It is destructive to us as a community, and as individuals.
