Gracias x subirlo!!! conocer como los genios se juntan, crean, sus influencias. Siempre me pregunté como fue formado el sonido de Portishead, y ahora se que la influencia es de ese cine entre Adrian y Geoff.
The only thing about Portishead I don't like is that no matter how loud you play, it cannot be loud enough. Just love this hisses and crashes. The rhythm is outstanding. Everybody talks about Beth's voice and I love it but I want instrumental version of all albums so I can smash the air in some industrial building with max volume.
He sounds ashamed of a) literally inventing a genre of music b) scratching. In America we'd just sit with our mouths open, in total awe, every time we heard Geoff scratch.
Well what should one say, your art is missing, something old from your archives would also please the fans, alternative versions of your studio albums, your soundboards from 1995 to today, the many camera angles of your concerts, do you sometimes think of the people who are your wealth have created .... be creative, income can also be donated.
There's nothing cooler than seeing your heroes speaking about the process like a proper human. So genuine.
My absolute favourite Portishead tune is Machine Gun Instrumental.
When one of the greatest ....
Its really a shame that the audience does not seems interested. Do they even know who this guy is??? I would have ask him 25 questions!

this just made me wanna listen to portishead
Relatable inspiring and honest
Could've watched another 2 hours of this
love listening to Geoff ramble - really insightful especially when he gets specific and technical
what a sweet, "real" man. no posing, just life & music.
what was the strings software he mentioned?
I think you mean the Spitfire London Contemporary Orchestra sample library?

@@gregcoles9175 haven't found a decent string VST yet.
Love Geoff! We share the same opinion on music. "I want to sound original!" YES!!! DAMMIT!
Love to no more about his time in kingscross Sydney, surprised no one asked
3 different calls to the audience for questions by the 55 minute mark. Only one taker. WTF people?!?
Wonderful
If you make a loop from 3sec using only one sound, you know that you've got something good.

This was stunning 50mins of conversation. Feel shamed to see everyone being there without any involvements.
