@@shoestringmotoring Blue comes in a blue bottle, Red in a red one. Regardless, as an instructional, a novice would go to the autoparts store, see the red bottle, and have permanent bolts
Here in the uk, the bottles are red with a blue stripe if indeed blue thread locker is inside or red if red is inside. They also have a number on the bottle. Mine is 242 which has a 4 .9NM torque necessary to undo. Red loctite would be in red bottle but with red tripe and one such number would be 277 with a torque of 32NM needed to loosen. I’m not stupid, I’ve used a lot of loctite in my life.
@@shoestringmotoring That's the difference, here in the US Red is in Red bottles, and Blue is in Blue, which makes more sense, IMHO, but regardless, the advice is good for US Shade Trees. Indecently, I've been learning since i got my first car at 18, 57 now. Always something new to learn, and everyone is somewhere along the way. 👍

Caliper bolts Look like an Allen, not a Torx. Don't use RED loctite, use Blue. Red is permanent. Grease your Pad ears with Caliper grease!
It was blue not red. You can clearly see that in the video. The bottle was red though.
