I was lucky enough to be in the audience (22 years ago) for this. I got the tickets for free from a supplier. I was 23 years ago and took my Mum, who is a Yes fan. This is real music man.
I was at this gig with a friend who had never heard Yes before, on leaving the venue he remarked "That was no ordinary gig, more like a religious experience for me, a true revelation!"
I really loved hearing Jon say what he said about Yes' survivability, regarding their abilities as a live act. It's pretty spot-on, and reminds me of reading Joe Carducci's 'Rock and the Pop Narcotic' in the '90s. If you're a Yes fan, and you've ever read the book, you might appreciate the ironies of an overblown, 500+ page polemic from a guy from SST that delights in covering punk's assault on the 'excesses" of prog, but still manages to point out that even Lester Bangs was on board in the beginning, and makes the case that ultimately, Yes consistently proved their ability to "'rock the house,' even if the 'house' is a chateau."

And this is why Steve Howe was voted 5 times in a row the best guitarist in the world on Guitar World magazine readers poll.
Goosebumps, man! Beautiful arrangement and presentation!
