Damn No Sleep must be going through some insane shit to lose a band to a label with less clout than they used to have, and worse distribution, and less talent, and less ties to major tours... and reading over this it looks like I'm insulting In Vogue.... but... No Sleep was the man like a minute ago... what the fuck happened to them?
christophermarang. Yeah dont know about No Sleep lately either, but inVogue seems to be picking up some pretty nice bands these past couple of years.. their getting bigger and better as a label, and are quickly becoming a label to look out for, for sure! Loving me some inVogue these days!
well i dont know about today but a couple years ago they had inGroove (Universal), with a Hopeless backing, which is like a 20xs better version of Red (Sony) with a Victory backing (sounds like shots on Stand By Records but i swear it's not). Warner is only as good as the talent you have they don't make you better or worse which is why they allow so many additive distribution alliances to their independent contracts. So although Warners great even I'd still rather have the deal No Sleep had.
