I would like to add that the front cover from the neck down is the whole front to completely cover one's chest and to hide its prominence that many women particularly from certain cultures and countries fail to do
Sisters , I agree with the purpose and the observation of a proper dress code for women described in Qur’an & how Sr Haifa is explaining it but I simply don’t understand why those who cover their hair, think it’s OK to stand & talk to men openly about in general about anything, walk seductively & behave friendly socially with or without the presence of any mahram with them ? Why do they want to wear makeup and tight on the waist clothes with Hijab? Why do they wear gaurdy hijabs , drawing attention to themselves? Why do they don’t understand the concept of hijab, which supposedly a barrier/ curtain to keep them protected from the eyes of men ? I have worn hijab for twenty + years here in US & the wisdom of doing so goes way beyond what I have seen & heard people saying about Hijab . Now when I’m almost 68 , & have silver / grey hair , I don’t have it on & I don’t feel guilty about not observing it anymore. Surah Noor, verse 60 gave me my answer ! And now people respect me for the way I behave & carry myself. I do cover myself however in Masjid and in certain places& try not to mingle unnecessarily with strange men . And live an Islamic life , doing good works here & there with Muslim sisters , thanking Allah swt every day . Pray all my sisters be modest & good Muslimas too & keep good company with their sisters contended. Aameen! 🤲🏻🌹💫
Great, masha'Allah. JazakiAllah Khair. It would have also been helpful to mention the verse where Allah commands us to wear the jilbab before leaving the home. Quran surah Ahzab 33:59
Ameen Dr Haifa... May Allah SWT make you amongst the people of the highest level of paradise.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
