What if I dont have modestia what katana is best? I am a student i dont have too much time to farm modestia with my guildmates.... Please inform me as to what is the best katana other than modestia.
Is str >Dex is needed? i have modestia and im dex>str and my arm is d7cd7cd17 is that ok? or should i change it to str? i want 200k tenryu damage xD

Yuki-chan ~~ dont put too much odelon on ur build bcuz arewzo has shown that if u have too much odelon the scaling on umsheath dmg is gonna reduce and not as good as using 2 odelon xtals and some other dmg scaling xtals but overall its a good build ^^)/
If you look at the damage calculation formula. You can see that 10% unsheathe gives more damage in the end than no other damage scaling xtal, so far.
@@Inbumsuh81 computer doesn't right 100% of the time man its toram's scaling feature when u just focus on one thing too much it will eventually decrease itself to avoid gamebreaking problems as for odelon the 10%unseathe stacking like that has already decrease the dmg alot in my point of view i sees alot of build dont go 4odelon but instead tyrant ulti machina ornlarf ifrid(or another xtal of ur choice if u have enough mp) bapho odelon don odelon and pull off double the dmg yuki has done in the vid

Let me make an example.
Class: 2h. Skill: Buster blade lv 10.
Let's say we have 3k atk, 270 cdmg, Lv 10 Sword techniques and short range damage 4%. To make it simple we have 100% stability and max proration.
We're up for killing Don yeti.
First we must calculate base damage.
Base damage calculation:
Atk - boss/mob lv which in this case is 103 (Don yetis lv) + Our level, say our lv is 150 × 0.96 that's because Don yetis physical resistance is 4%. We land at 2925, this is our base damage.
Now we calculate our damage from Buster blade.
Buster blade damage calculation:
Base damage 2925 - boss/mob def. Which is 206. Don yeti got 206 in def. + Skill constant 300 which is Buster blades skill constant at lv 10) = 3019
3019 × skill multiplier, Buster blades skill multiplier is 10 when equipped with a 2h sword. = 30190
30190 × cdmg which is 2.7 = 81513
Now comes things like unsheathe, elemental but we don't got that so let's skip it. We have 100% stability so no changes there, but we got max proration so 81513 × 2.5 = 203782
203782 × skill multipliers in this case we got Sword techniques 20%
203782 × 1.20 = 244538
244538 × short range damage 4% = 254319
254319 × 1.5 combo multiplier (if the skill is in a combo with smite tag) = 381478
There are many other factors that will affect the damage out come like ailments, guarded, drop gem etc. but we skip them too.
So that's the final damage with Buster blade, this is the total damage of all three hits.
To compare it with DT. DT got a skill multiplier of total 15 (7.5 for each hit) DT got zero constant but ignores the def from boss/mob. The skills must of course be compared with similar equipment, cdmg, refine etc.
DT will inflict more damage especially at high def bosses.
But Buster blade only cost 3 mp and is a very fast skill, so in terms of dps and manage of mp it may deal more damage over time.
Hope you understand this better. All physical skill works this way, pretty much.

What is the skill after magadachi? Because than I use it, it doesnt do that slash (tenryou zanou) and just meh...Im newbie to katana someone can please explain?

It's look like DW build but katana version. I used build like this in my 2h sword. it's really useful for solo play.

Nice video. Only problem is katana users fly solo. I mean, they can't tank, they don't do as much damage as mages. No one wants to team up with katana users. Trust me, my main is katana and I get kicked a lot even though I do a lot of damage. If you can't tank with a katana, you are useless. Katanas damage output is above average, and the atk speed is really good. Think about it... Two assets that are good for only solo players. Either that or you are stuck in a team where you take out mobs against bosses like lol empresses mobs lol
Nah even u sword or halberd gonna be kick ..but if katana build tank ofc they accept on team..this game more need tank cause people majority doing dmge but not tanky
