jan....i have a 110 serial # JHMGE88429C005913. it has all aluminum viking pulleys and flywheel. can you tel by the serial if these updates are needed? engine is 0 hrs
Hey Phil, A serial number unfortunately doesn’t help as even though pieces were purchased etc doesn’t mean they were installed. The best thing that can be done is reviewing the SBs on the website that shows how to tell what you have and if something needs to occur. Pictures sent to us also help.
Would these updates be done by Viking on future engines sold ?
Hello Mike, this is an engine that has been out of production almost a decade. We don’t sell them anymore, we provide support for them etc.
Also, any service bulletin we ever put out is rectified on everything prior to shipping - this even goes for upgrades etc.

How thick are the “3 spacer washers”?
Add enough washers or make spacers or longer standoffs to allow about 1/16 front to back movement of the dampers
