Hi NerdEJackie! Yes, these are absolutely a rip off. This design was stolen from our website and as you can tell, it was terribly done...We have had a lot of fun (not!) in sending out infringement claims to get these listings taken down. They ran our art through an AI tool to try and get around legality issues? It murdered it, haha. We do have the real version for sale on our site and through very few resellers. We would love to send you a real one as an apology for this abomination!
Just a follow up on the types of dice, those are not photos of our dice, those were added in by the company that ripped them off. We've had a few different options but they did not involve metal or liquid core this year.
The liquid core set they show looks like it was a picture stolen off of Etsy, shopify, or some other online market from someone who hand makes them. As a dice maker myself, I can attest that liquid cores are costly to make.
I feel bad for the owners of those photos… they can easily get their reputation damaged by knock offs and scammers using their photos because. Even if the consume knows it was a stolen photo sometimes subconscious bias or skepticism gives people a bad opinion
So this temu one is actually stolen from an etsy one. The same box and everything. The Etsy one offers the option of novelty ie liquid core dice or the more standard one you got here.
The way the numbers start normal but change order and get blended into the art/disappear at spots makes me think AI was used to produce the front image. Or maybe to edit a stolen box art like the fake LPS Advent calendars. Not surprised at the cheap dice from Temu calendar lol but a fun idea for dice goblins!
It certainly looks like AI mess to my eyes, and is. The messed up numbers, the unidentifiable blobs that have little to no shape... Yeah, I doubt there was a person there who went 'I want this here and this here exactly' on that thing
I agree with you that it was a complete clickbait. You can go to stores that sell matching sets for roughly $10. Even though you got 24 different dice it was not worth the price
as a DND player im excited for the video but not having high expectations for the dice. I've brought dice of temu before and they weren't great. will stick to my local small business game store
About the numbers: I think that they made the art with AI and it messed up the big numbers, so they tried to solve it by writing tiny numbers over the art?
I was looking at these calendars but figured that they were fake given your history with Temu calendars! It's cheaper just to buy the dice you like from Temu, they're usually under $3 a set. Thank you for buying this so I don't have to!
dont be upset with them, they may have not had a choice. The artwork would have been done before they went into production. And they realised the cost would have been to high. plus the numbers looked like they faded after printing so they printed another set. But the printer got it wrong. You get these issues when doing this stuff. But then it would not have taken much to change the web site pics. Still never mind, another great video. :)
The numbers look like you can either open the calendar in portrait or landscape mode. They go in order right to left in portrait, and in a right/left/right zig zag in landscape.
I bought two dice advent calendars this year - one at $65 (a10 dice acrylic set, 8 piece acrylic and some random dice including metal and wood) and a $95 (a metal set, a an acrylic set and some accessories). That price was 100% a red flag. The cheapest dice advent from a reputable seller I found was about $50. This is one of those mildly frustrating reviews because a quick Google search shows that a set of liquid core dice do go for about $50, so even for Temu that price is sus cheap.
Just a heads up the liquid core and metal dice are way more extensive to make. The fact that it was only $24 means it would all be cheaper cheap soft edge dice.
Ohhh yeah, this was scammy as ever and all the jazz! Craptastic prompter art on the cover and basic beginner dice, altho the marbled ones are really nice, especially the white and the green ones. I am glad the originators f the dice calendar popped up and showed us how it should look. Quality stuff right there with them.
the reddish d10 I'd have to say is very autumnal and up there as a fave with the ones you got. but at least you can make a couple mismatch d&d sets worth from what you got
I think the numbers are set so you can open it 2 different ways either the way you did or with the image the correct orientation, it's weird, think they were trying to do a choose your adventure idea but failed the execution
here within 1 hour?!? I absolutely love your advent calendar videos! edit: this advent calendar has definitely false advertising, mostly everything that was imaged was not included in the actual product. very disappointing .
dang, I wouldn't even pay $10 for that assortment. not only did you not get any fancy dice, but you also didn't even get any full sets. the scam artist that sells these has a bug bowl of dice and just threw dice in the compartments with no thought. otherwise, you would have gotten more D6. Sorry you got a bum box. love your videos.
The dice are pretty, but not worth it. I bought a bundle of three mystery sets on etsy a few months back (and it came with other things as well) for just a bit more, so much more worth the price. And seller was one that lets you semi-request color or theme preferences, and now three of my top five sets came from that.
One set of dice typically runs $12-25, so this is a decent deal for the number of dice you get! Edit: The dice they included are a bunch of cheapies. So $25 is very much on the high end for what you get, unfortunately :(
The background with the large numbers is definitely AI generated-numbers included, that’s why they cut off at random and they had to number them separately.
Sadly temu dice are super cheap so that calender was worth about $3.00 cad. And with the wonky advent calendar box it's worth even less. I would have ranked it a -5/10
The Image on the front looks like someone told an AI to create an image of a dungeon or something. ^^' It's pretty bad... and for that price, I honestly didn't expect any sharp edge dice at all, let alone with a liquid core. I think at that point it might be better to just buy the dice without the calendar. At least then you'll see what you get.
Im sorry I failed to understand why people still buy from temu. For that price you could buy a dnd starter kit with a colection of dice, you can buy for 10€ in stores from speciality, not to mention that they store the designs of real artists (for example the liquid dice which are expensive because they require a lot of work), the work conditions, and the influence people to buy uncessary stuff (and most of the times made with questionable materials) to produce more waste but I guess these make easy content.

Omg that’s absolutely terrible 😭 so sorry to hear that
They really cursed your super fun art!
Ooh I'd love to see that advent calender review ❤
That poor art 😭 the amorphous AI blobs are so sad looking. I am so sorry this happened to your product!
The liquid core set they show looks like it was a picture stolen off of Etsy, shopify, or some other online market from someone who hand makes them. As a dice maker myself, I can attest that liquid cores are costly to make.
The entire cover artwork on the box was stolen from a small business and then garbled with AI, too.
I feel bad for the owners of those photos… they can easily get their reputation damaged by knock offs and scammers using their photos because. Even if the consume knows it was a stolen photo sometimes subconscious bias or skepticism gives people a bad opinion
There is NO way you're getting metal or liquid core dice from Temu. Those sets are EXPENSIVE on their own.
So this temu one is actually stolen from an etsy one. The same box and everything. The Etsy one offers the option of novelty ie liquid core dice or the more standard one you got here.
Shop name please.
Does thé art IS ai too in Etsy one?
The way the numbers start normal but change order and get blended into the art/disappear at spots makes me think AI was used to produce the front image. Or maybe to edit a stolen box art like the fake LPS Advent calendars.
Not surprised at the cheap dice from Temu calendar lol but a fun idea for dice goblins!
That’s gotta be AI generated art, it’s all vaguely recognisable but totally messed up in same way 😂
It certainly looks like AI mess to my eyes, and is. The messed up numbers, the unidentifiable blobs that have little to no shape... Yeah, I doubt there was a person there who went 'I want this here and this here exactly' on that thing

Looks a little dicey😂
Ha! I was "rolling" with laughter😂
It probably doesn't matter what order you open them.....especially if all of the compartments heve dice in them.
Temu? No, Jackie, no.
These are 100% dice sold in bulk. They'll do, but definitely got ripped off lol
1:10.... welll the dimensions DO matter when you need to ship something and the price depends on the size of the box...
These dice look exactly like the cheap bin of dice at my local game store
woaaaaaaaah this woke me up three in the morniiiiiiiiiiiing
Same, I was planning to sleep buuuuuut here I am
@@Jasmine-wn9eksaaaaaaaaaaaame
Jackie-I get it now 😄. The frown is SALTY.
I just know how pretty your smile is.
Thanks for another great video.
😊
I think they expect people to open them in December right before Christmas and just have no time to complain 😂
Also, the poo one is my birthday. 😂😂
as a DND player im excited for the video but not having high expectations for the dice. I've brought dice of temu before and they weren't great. will stick to my local small business game store
I agree that it was a disappointment… I would have loved to have seen those liquid dice… never seen or heard of them before… 🤗
Liquid cores are absolutely amazing 😭
About the numbers: I think that they made the art with AI and it messed up the big numbers, so they tried to solve it by writing tiny numbers over the art?
The AI regurgitation of the art here is absolutely traumatic ;v;
You flipped the dice on this advent calendar and definitely got less than half!! 😂
I was looking at these calendars but figured that they were fake given your history with Temu calendars! It's cheaper just to buy the dice you like from Temu, they're usually under $3 a set. Thank you for buying this so I don't have to!

Its a good day when a new advent calender review is out
Love your vids Jackie!
The numbers are placed so you can display the calendar in landscape or portrait... I think!
The numbers look like you can either open the calendar in portrait or landscape mode. They go in order right to left in portrait, and in a right/left/right zig zag in landscape.
I stink at rolling too. Lolz

Now you need to buy proper liquid dice from the small businesses to redeem that lol
Remember dirty Jackie. Haha
"Tis poo. It is poo-poo dice" 😂
Just a heads up the liquid core and metal dice are way more extensive to make. The fact that it was only $24 means it would all be cheaper cheap soft edge dice.
A new video is a great end to a lazy Saturday! ❤
Ohhh yeah, this was scammy as ever and all the jazz! Craptastic prompter art on the cover and basic beginner dice, altho the marbled ones are really nice, especially the white and the green ones. I have a bad of dice in my TH-cam background because I'm a huge nerd, and have a whole bunch of dice, it's really pretty Ave fun!!
You seem surprised to be scammed by a company who is known for scamming people.
So far most things have been really great
Woohoo! Bonus Jackie!
Random note: I just got my Figure It Out kit and I can’t wait to play with it!
Omg so happy you got it!!
I hate that this is a stolen thing that's happening but they look so pretty and I love dice that people make and design.
11:45 hehehehe
I think the smaller numbers when you turn your phone sideways you can see it in a different way by 1 2 3 4
Thank you I love your videos and I really love art I hope I can be like an artist
It is poopie poopie 💩 dice. 😂
What a treat! Whomp whomp another bad one! Poor Jackie!
It looks like a board game as well
i wanna spin all them lol happy hoildays!!
You rolled a 13 on a d20. That's actually a decent roll
For one of the rare times lol
The pictures are always lies.
Love your reviews
Mary Christmas and late Thanksgiving!
my day of birth was green D4 dice
You should throw one to rate the calendar.... for sure you'll get a high number.... LOL!
the reddish d10 I'd have to say is very autumnal and up there as a fave with the ones you got. but at least you can make a couple mismatch d&d sets worth from what you got
Hi your one of my favorite TH-camr!
The numbers are u can pick if u want to open it in order or random
I once died in DND and was on my second roll and the odds apparently were in my favor I got a nat 20
Love the video so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great video ❤
Mine was the orange 10 sided diamond one.
I think the numbers are set so you can open it 2 different ways either the way you did or with the image the correct orientation, it's weird, think they were trying to do a choose your adventure idea but failed the execution
A dicegoblin can never have many dices and the most hardcore also makes their own even if is only origami
I’d like to see you play D&D 😂
Watching this at 3am lol
here within 1 hour?!? I absolutely love your advent calendar videos!
edit: this advent calendar has definitely false advertising, mostly everything that was imaged was not included in the actual product. very disappointing .
Seems like the mica powder and/or glitter was giving the illusion of liquid filled.
oh I'm watching this tomorrow. It's 1 am here ;-;
I think the extra nunbers im at the beginning may be the sides of the dice
After further investigation i am wrong 😂
dang, I wouldn't even pay $10 for that assortment. not only did you not get any fancy dice, but you also didn't even get any full sets. the scam artist that sells these has a bug bowl of dice and just threw dice in the compartments with no thought. otherwise, you would have gotten more D6. I got the gold one with white numbers on the 11th ❤
Stop giving TEMU money please 🙏
The dice are pretty, but not worth it. I bought a bundle of three mystery sets on etsy a few months back (and it came with other things as well) for just a bit more, so much more worth the price. And seller was one that lets you semi-request color or theme preferences, and now three of my top five sets came from that.
Aw yay. I'm sorry it was a scam but I appreciate the informant ❤
The dice you got in this box are worth about $0.265 each. You got ripped off.
The box is misprint. They have the big numbers on the Walmart and Amazon versions of this. Temp probably just used the unusable boxes from them.
day 21st is also my day!
Yay I'm finally early lol. Love the content. ❤
At least I got the second d20. Shameful the lack of even range.
I can buy a literal pound of dice for cheaper than this on Amazon. This was a complete rip off.
Yea. If it was at least matching sets I might forgive it for being a cute calendar thing. But no.
One set of dice typically runs $12-25, so this is a decent deal for the number of dice you get! Edit: The dice they included are a bunch of cheapies. So $25 is very much on the high end for what you get, unfortunately :(
Hey Jackie am 21 as well x
Hi Jackie!!!
Putting a whole new meaning to take a chance and roll the dice huh?
WOW, you got screwed. not a single matching set. i was going to order myself a dice advent calendar but i'm not anymore.
Try Crayola advent calendar it is good
Jackie got ripped off! Those were only 5 to 8 dollars worth of dice, if that. 😡
The background with the large numbers is definitely AI generated-numbers included, that’s why they cut off at random and they had to number them separately.
Sadly temu dice are super cheap so that calender was worth about $3.00 cad. And with the wonky advent calendar box it's worth even less. I would have ranked it a -5/10
If the art is AI it's guaranteed to be trash...
there are white numbers to help and yes its confusing
What are these used for?
Dungeons and Dragons
The Image on the front looks like someone told an AI to create an image of a dungeon or something. ^^' It's pretty bad... and for that price, I honestly didn't expect any sharp edge dice at all, let alone with a liquid core. I think at that point it might be better to just buy the dice without the calendar. At least then you'll see what you get.
I’m so sorry this was definitely a temu catfish scam I’ve seen the exact liquid core dice on Etsy for £30-£40 on their own ❤
17th D10 = 3, my niece 18th D4= 3
Hello Jackie ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
4th - blue d20.
lol be for real, it's a TEMU advent calendar it obviously was click bait, that picture is clearly from an artesanal shop 😂
Hi Jackie 👍✌️
Im sorry I failed to understand why people still buy from temu. Seven... It would just be a white one. 😂
