Can confirm, those lady fish are going Buck WILD right now down there. Usually when you see the birds diving theres a ton. Ive had no luck on lures, but lots of luck on Cut bait and Fish Bites. Usually just use the fish bites to hold the cut bait on.

i started keeping ladyfish after watching people make fish balls out of them. its really good in noodles, i add em with my shin ramen noodles haha

Watch every video. But the existential anger that overcomes me whenever you or anyone talks about how good the fishing is or how much fish there are "this time of year" is overwhelming. Go like 1 or 2 times a week and literally only get hardheads if anything at all. Very demoralizing.
