Does anybody know what the last count of denominations we have now since the reformation? We seem to be having splits more and more between main stream denominations like the Lutherans the Baptist and Methodist the Presbyterian. We now have nondenominational churches of every flavor. It’s really a mess out there right now. My prayer is that God grant me discernment and wisdom through all of it. I came to faith in 81. Sat under John MacArthur RC Sproul and Alistair Begg. They have remained solid along with others and I am getting to know.
I wonder what the Lord thinks about the socially distant church that no longer welcomes the lonely or stranger, you go sit 6 ft away from my family least you give me a disease. We talk about love of neighbor but kindness and hospitality and thrown into the dust heap.

We do love our neighbours by keeping them safe too
