Well, the one I just bought takes awhile to get it to start. So once you get it to start don't kill it or you won't be able to start it for a while. Mine may go back for one that starts easy!
i hope it works out, i just ordered this very model yesterday from Walmart, it was on sale for $197, so im crossing my fingers that it is a decent mower
@@samham5281 i hope so, i need to use it while i fix my Troy-bilt mower, i did a dumb thing and installed the wrong spark plug, the threads were to long, i think i might have broke something in the motor, most likely the cam,its made of plastic and would be very easily damaged
@@disrpttt3138 so far so good, i havent had any problems with it, it makes a weird noise in the engine when you are pulling the cord to crank it, but it starts up and the noise goes away, so im still crossing my fingers that it will last me
What a weird mower. Its a horizontal engine mounted on a rotary mower (not sure why they didn't use a vertical engine), looks like the output shaft is hooked up to a right angle gearbox through the deck?
That’ll assure that you’ll have to buy a new mower sooner than if it were to be just direct shaft. Simple direct driver mowers last too long. Engineer thought if we add a tranny then it’ll eventually go so why not go that route. More profit. I still have my fathers old lawn boy two stroke mower from the 70s runs forever

I just thought it was really weird setup, especially since horizontal engines tend to cost more than vertical ones. Maybe Power Smart got a huge discount on a large lot of horizontal engines.
I've been looking online to figure out how to make this thing less like a runaway train. Someone suggested not pulling the drive handle all the way. Said use your thumbs to only pull it part way.

Does anyone know what the spark plug replacement to use for this mower? I can't seem to find any information on that.

Use non ethanol. Should last a few years. Keep that deck clean underneath

My 170cc is way too fast and no adjustment .
