i love how independent and adventurous lily is! im 19 turning 20 and i would be so stressed travelling alone esp out of the country. they say u should spend ur 20s travelling and getting to see the world. she seems like a rly free spirit to be around
I travelled alone lots in my early 20s and trust me you will not regret it!! It might feel scary at first but you grow so much and learn, adapt and get to know yourself so much and you have to leave a comfort zone and it was a wonderful time in my life. Just make sure to be careful and I recommend hostels because everyone is in the same situationen and its easier to get to know people there :)

The taxi driver was probably trying to scam you. A common tourist scam is to claim that the credit card machine doesn't work so they can demand cash and charge you way more than what the meter says you owe.
3:35 covent garden is one of my favoraite places in the UK. The Shake Shack is great, lots of good restaurants, nice music and there’s good museums nearby. It’s also a ten minute walk from Trafalgar and Lecister squares.

yup that happened to me in ireland and he also drove around for like 30 mins when it was a 5-10 min drive (i didnt know it was so close)
