Trust, BTS, for me at least, don't have a skip song. They just have songs that fit certain vibes/moods/mindsets, and if you're not feeling the song at the time you're listening to it, there will be a time that you're gonna vibe with it.

the way I can relate to this. I couldn't agree more! the first time I listened to an entire album without skipping was their LY: Answer (it was when I was new ARMY) I was surprised myself coz I could barely like all songs in an album but BTS ones, for real!! I even repeat the entire album.. No skip songs indeed!

This was my first BTS song and I was HYPNOTIZED. Fell down the BTS rabbit hole and my life has never been happier. So glad you guys loved it! It's soooo catchy, right??? Kito, the dance practice you watched before which included DNA was for one of their year-end performances, where they take an existing song/performance and enhance it to make it even more dramatic for the year-end award show. That's why you saw all the gangsters in the dance practice, but they don't show up in the original. Love you guys!
They had their first American comeback with this song. They performed it at AMAs in 2017. It was LIT AF!!! America wasn't really ready for them, that's for sure! I mean A-ARMY was, but them regular "Murican" folk got their wigs snatched for sure!!!
This song is one where the lyrics get you. There's a saying in the fandom that you find BTS/BTS finds you exactly when you need them. With this song they're saying BTS x ARMY was always meant to be because we're linked through our very DNA. The MV visuals are pretty dope & when they perform and become a human DNA Helix, yeah, that ish is lit AF too. Plus the song is special because they performed it live for the first time in America. That was the first time that ANY K-pop act debuted a comeback here. IMO, It's also the song that skyrocketed them into the worldwide group they are today. Ironically, this song brought attention back to the K-pop industry, but also pushed BTS out of it at the same time, if that makes sense.

I'm going to suggest Save Me. It's a simple video, but beautifully shot, and it's well done, I adore the song, it's one of my favorites. But honestly they have so much content over the course of their career I am always discovering something that I haven't seen or heard.
Save Me is also one of my faves.

This is title track for their first installment of their Love Yourself series album ‘Love Yourself: Her’. It represents young love and how we can be so careless with it. Months later for their next comeback, BTS writes a song that talks about Fake Love (They realize the love they felt was fake but it’s not true). They express their pain and grief in ‘Fake Love’ MV. In their first track of the album “DNA” they show that we’re all connected by our DNA.

NOTE: DNA was the first track I ever heard from them. I think it happened that way for a lot of American ARMYS-this was the point when they were first performing at American award shows and appearing on late night shows (namely with James Corden).

Thank you! What I got from the song personally is that as part of mankind/ humanity we are all connected, we share the same DNA. This was the first kpop song I heard, didn't see the lyrics or mv but was totally vibing to it in the car. Good times

when you're watching a BTS MV or performamce for the first time, never ever choose to read the caption coz every second of the video is amazing... you'll miss the initial excitement you could ever feel in a BTS MV or live performance! you could always read the lyrics in a lyric video to understand the message of the song since every song of BTS has one. this is just an advice i usually tell to the youtubers who watches BTS' MV or performance for the first time. BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS!
also, they really looked younger in their Love Yourself: HER comeback. plus, BTS songs could often be interpreted by the listeners to be a love song or a song dedicated to a loved one but for BTS... the songs they make are all dedicated to their ARMYs. just like this song DNA, BTS having ARMYs and us ARMYs having BTS in our lives are not coincidence... it's DESTINY! BTS and ARMYs are meant to meet and be together forever. BTSxARMYs purple each other! BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS!

Hey Kito, They have some older songs that are still some of my faves. Dead leaves; Hold me tight; Love is not over (full length edition). These are not title tracks so no music videos but there are fan made color coded lyric videos. Thought I would recommend them since these 3 songs aren't usually requested even though they are a vibe! I saw other people recommending you react to Hip Hop Lover and Ma City which I also totally agree with.
P.S. I'm in my 30's, married, have a kid, and still love bts. I discovered them back in 2014 and I'm a fan for life.
Suzie Saephan I just discovered BTS this August, I regret missing out on them for 6 years. I was lost when 2NE1 disbanded so I stopped listening to Kpop. Also Mom to my 2 kids whom love dancing to BTS when I play it for them in the living room. I swear my 4 year old sometimes sings along to the Korean lyrics. He may just learn Korean lol

You have lots to catch up on but take your time. The more you find out about them, the more you love them. I love all the inside jokes in our fandom too! Lol. Armies are seriously the most invested and dedicated fans ever. I've never been this invested in any other celebrity or artist in my life. 😆
Suzie Saephan Oh I have done marathons of some of their BTS Run episodes, Festa, Bon Voyage and some interviews. Suga for me stood out. And I was hooked that I literally was planning to fly to Korea for their LY final concerts. Unfortunately trip didn’t plan out but I am excited for their comeback. So I am happy to be part of it.
