They never take accountability for their actions and the excuse is always "I did it because of you" to basically make the other feel guilty and pity them
I don't understand how can someone easily forgive the person , who made them go through worst....even though she is deeply in love with him it doesn't mean she let her self respect down....in a relationship one should value others feelings as well, I don't how dumb they can be thinking in their way not communicating with others
At least he has to suffer and it take many episodes to earn back a chance with her! (Unlike most of the dramas I see that seem to think the male lead only has to say “oops, my bad, I’m sorry” to be forgiven.)
I find the pattern of this ML in the roles his playing. He was also dumb and a jerk with his previous role in You Are My Destiny. He continued to communicate with his ex which allowed the other party to scheme against his wife. He lost both his wife and child as a result but even after that, he still had friendly relations with the other party. The most hateful thing was, after he cried and begged his wife, he was forgiven and as per the cliche, they lived happily ever after with his tendency to cheat at every single turn looming over their heads. What a great drama that was. It defied all commonsense and logic known to man and most audience still supported the CP. Most likely, this drama will have the same formula as far as the snippets show. He does not have enough awareness and maybe brains to protect the person his supposed to love but will still be forgiven after a while because of his ML halo.
Exactly how I felt about the actor, I wish he had diverse roles other than rich and arrogant guy that always loses his lover then wins her back instantly. But seems like he knows this type of drama is what rakes in the money

@@pilarcapella4463 except that in The Eternal Love 1 there is a creepy element of coercion in their early sexual encounters that leaves a bad taste (and non consensual use of someone else’s body is straight up wrong).

I'm glad she finally left him he had no respect for her as his wife he continually degraded her never at anytime did he support her belittled her but she tried so damnedest to keep her head up but everything has there limits kudos to her
I would say he's to late to try to gather evidence against her now. Had he really cared for his wife instead of believing in the ex he should have been on guard for her tricks. She had already screwed him over before now she's playing the games again and he is believing her again.
This so true there is a saying "screw over me one time shame on u, screw me over twice shame on me" well this is a good example

I really like the drama but man that toxic love triangle between the ML, FL, and the ex is too much. I'm glad Lu Li beat feet and left but most women would have left ages ago. We would have burned bridges as we were leaving. He had no respect, confidence, or humane thought for his wife because they had a contract but jees, he really took that anger out on her and should have put that onus on the ex. He gave the impression of cheating with the ex and that's too much humiliation for anyone, even a contract wife. She didn't ask for love, just respect her position. She gave her best at work and at home but got none back. Even when it was found out what Li Man did, including accessory to attempted murder, she got off too light considering the trouble Lu Li got into. She should have gone abroad to make sure hubby never found her. Damn fate! She deserved so much better but then she forgave him. I respect that decision even though she deserved a man that would give her all his love, support, admiration, respect, and trust. This guy ain't it. He just got lucky.
This is the one drama that I cannot get over the fact Liman got away with 2 criminal offenses and 1 accessory offense. Meanwhile Luli had to go under investigation because of Liman. I just can't get over it. She has to be punished and put to jail. And here she is playing the old song "I did it for you" which is kind of tiring to hear.
@@gemini8966 yep I totally agree. It's hard for me to stomach too how much Lu Li went through. I mean c'mon, he really treated her badly and those vicious remarks he told her. He honestly couldn't be that stupid and blind as to how mean he was to her. If she had treated him even a quarter of that badly to him he wouldn't have taken it. He really abused her. He didn't nearly go through enough begging to win her back. I'm agreeing with a lot of folks that's it's a happy ending but it shouldn't have been. A true happy ending would have resulted in Lu Li being single and having that baby without him, Li Man behind bars, and hubby still groveling but both families finally realizing how much damage he did to her. Lu Li never spilled the beans and she got shafted to make the writers happy.
I would have left if he called me by another name right after having sex that right there says another for me I don't care how much I loved that person

Li Man is such a scab and weak man gets what he deserves. Playing with two , one is a girl and the other is dirty water. When he's tried of the strange he goes back to the familiar.
