Your videos are criminally underrated, especially with how good some of them are when pit up against newer ASMR content. I remember when this video came out back when people were still testing the waters with ASMR. When I started to hear people mention ASMR in passing around 2016, I really thought you were gonna blow up and it's a genuine injustice that you didn't pull a larger audience. If I ever get a platform to stand on, I'm definitely going to shout you out because you deserve it! Anyway, I always thought it was really cool you got to travel to so many interesting and fun places, but I guess that's a pretty neat perk of being an actress and model. Also, I hope you're doing well these days! :D

Seven years later I still watch this video on a semi-regular basis, and I am having tea with you as I watch this.
And I have also just bought the book "How to Read a Book".

You need some good old Yorkshire tea from here in England, with some biscuits for dunking!

Wine tasting is like tasting different qualities of food, etc. you need to give your palate time to develop, it cannot be done in two hours.
You're right, they will pretty much all just taste the same at the beginning. However, if you start drinking a better quality wine for a period of time AND THEN go back to a cheaper wine, that's when you notice the difference.
My father-in-law used to buy a cheap wine from France, just a couple of Euro per bottle - so he would buy several boxes of it. I used to drink it with him and at the time enjoyed it. Then I started to drink a better quality of wine over several weeks and the next time I had some of the cheap wine I thought it was really rough and was actually off - but my father-in-law was lapping it up. So obviously my palate was now used to the better quality wine.

Kendal, what your videos need, is more of your wonderful face, and POV walks. To me it doesn't really matter what the video is about, or where is it located, as long as I can see your face, or look through your eyes - that's what truly relaxes me, and triggers quality ASMR experience. As for the length - the longer such videos are, the better, and since I realize it's difficult to keep the monologue going for extended periods of time, I can tell you with honesty that you don't have to say anything at all - for example videos of you blow drying your hair are among my favorite ones (and I would definitely love to see more).
As for the POV videos, they are easily in my top 3, if not on the very top of my favorites list. Could you do some walks around LA (and anywhere else you might find yourself), comparable to what you did in Paris? Because that was such a fantastic experience - thanks to you I was exploring new locations, having a chance to observe different environment, seeing how people live there, and also thanks to your delightful rambling I felt like I was right by your side, enjoying a walk with you. Amazing! Also, filming your reflection as you walked by some of the buildings turned out to be quite a powerful ASMR trigger for me, on top of an already absolutely incredible experience. :)
I truly enjoy your videos and I really like your style. Some of the best that TH-cam has to offer. Thank you for all that you're doing Kendal. Take care. :)

Thanks for the input! I don't do much walking around LA, it's so big and it's really built for cars. But I'll keep my eyes open for a good opportunity here or somewhere else. I'm glad you liked walking around Paris! :-D

My favorite parts were when you poured the tea or scraped the spoon. The talking was ok but it often made my tingles go away.

Los Angeles is dessert land essentially and they suck lots of water from other parts of the state and country and they recycle lots of their water to keep the demand as low as possible.. so they "traet" their water with chlorine.. which somehow they find it acceptable.. although I heard that even bathing with the water outgasses the chlorine and can easily exceed safe limits of air quality.
I'm very impressed by your keep perception to these details.. I think most people just think the water has "bad taste" but you are able to identify the chemical there.

I installed a pretty intense filter in my last place, and if I had the money I'd do it again here. Even with the Brita pitcher… I know that doesn't get out the fluoride, which bugs me. I've heard about the outgassing too…. if I had enough money I'd put in the whole house system (well… if I owned this place. lol). Someday, that's what I'll have. :-)

MissMindBuzz You are like me, I dislike artificial chemicals in my food supply.. specially water. For bath water.. I think minimizing hot water use can help the body not absorb chemicals through the opening of the pores. Or being well hydrated before a shower so your body does not act like a sponge. I know real good filters take out virus and bacteria but I don't know what can take out flourine molecules or chlorine one. I use an osmosis filter.. do you know what kind of filtering you use?
Do you consider buying water from the stores? I don't know if there is a brand that is reputable and healthy.. (I generally dislike the idea of buying water from corporations.. but it may be a healthy option in some areas).

I forget what kind of filter it was. It had several filters it would go through, I bought it at Costco and specifically wanted one that got the fluoride out. There are those that do it. Thank goodness. Sadly, not using it right now…. Chlorine, well, the Brita pitcher filter gets rid of the taste of chlorine, but I'm wondering how much of the chlorine it takes out. It doesn't claim to reduce anything but the taste of it… hmmm

I like your videos much better when you do talk, I find it kind of awkward watching someone do something without them speaking...
