But Knight's Choice and the well named Warp Speed bursting through dobbed me in !! Breathtaking race yet again. I went over to Oz in 2006 to watch it, and it stands up with the Epsom Derby for this old Pom !! Pulsating stuff !!
this is why the melbourne cup is so so good... you just never know what's gonna happen. the 3 favourites- all out of the finish. i saw zero experts pick either of the top 2 horses to come close to winning. this was a ripper of a race, and i am proud of myself for backing warp speed 😂

Knights choice: was given a pathway by heavens to go straight through. Hence he won. Remember guys all 23 horses are race horses. Any horse can win. Its just the way the race opens up at the end makes all the difference.

The Melbourne Cup is a tough race to bet on. The winner had shown very little in the local lead up races but none of those were over 3200 meters now were they!

The second horse should of won, was cantering in behind looking for room, I had no interest in the race after they banned O'Briens horse from running he would of won easy a hcp certainty, they knew it and didn't want another Irish horse to win, that's why they banned him.

I reckon if Warp Speed hadn’t been blocked a little by the tiring Land Legend he wins by a length. Good tough rides by both jockeys never gave up👍
