Shame on Nick Cave for being one of the only artists who is still happy to perform in the terrorist state of Israel - his reputation is forever tarnished beyond repair !
Momentsn lese ich ihr buch nick cave glaube hoffnung und gemetzel..ich liebe alle ihre alben..und bin seit 30 jahren ein fan und immer mehr danke dass es sie gibt!!

That was really enjoyable. It’s taken me a good few listens to get into the Wild God album but It’s growing on me now. Looking forward to the Glasgow gig in December. Going with my daughter. 🙂
Fucking legend. The idiot in the chat replay who kept on making stupid statements about Blixa and Mick was annoying - I guess there always has to be at least one. I find that Nick Cave's tendency to want to change and mold his craft is the thing that draws me most to him. In a way listening to his records since Birthday Party has felt like growing older with a friend.
God, I remember listening to the livestream of Ghosteen when it released. I was there thinking "this may be the most heartbreakingly beautiful album I've ever heard" and in the chat were dozens of people whining about "ugh no drums and guitars" and "where's the ROCK" as if a man in his 60s who just lost his son was gonna make another Dig Lazarus Dig
As much as I love this conversation and as much as I've loved Nick Cave's music since 1982 or so, I struggle with his embracing of Christianity. I understand he has always had an interest in and flirtation with religious imagery something about actually being an active believer concerns me and makes it difficult to fully enjoy the newer work
Thank you, Nick, for your thoughtful answers and always keeping it classy. I saw you play live for the Tender Prey tour and you’ve been with me throughout all the ups and downs of my life. I am so very excited to see you live again in Toronto on April 23rd, 2025!
I don't think the album is mixed in a good way. Sometimes it's annoyingly overdriven (Song of the lake), sometimes Nick's Voice is hidden in the background (Conversion), there is very little dynamics (quiet and energetic parts of the songs with exactly the same volume), and in parts a muddy sound. I've listened to it on several devices and I think this is really a bit of a pity because I love the musical content. It's a very very good album which could have been even better with a good mastering.
I'd put it down solely to Dave Fridmann, he mixed the Baroness album Gold And Grey and my God, that album is the muddiest, most overblown album I've heard since early 90s black metal. There's a good album buried beneath the clipping and red mixing desk sliders but it's hard to hear. I think Wild God is better but some songs are definitely mixed inexplicably louder or quieter than others
as an Aussie I'd just like to say that we do not love country music... I mean Dolly is Dolly but.... yeah nahhh. Also a Question I'd have asked is.. did he run the idea of the ode to Anita by Susie? was she cool with it?
Loved to hear launay was in the crowd. Great footage of him doing his work here -> th-cam.com/video/-ubryBwZYDE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=sqDxw47U5NG6en_G Thanks again, Nick.
Both Jews & Palestinians need repentance & forgiveness.. a quite frankly Don,t get your free Palestine.. you lived extdoor..teach your kids to hate and kill..then blame the others..what about some truth on your side..war happens when you breed hate
One of the most important people alive.

Stop deifying him you weirdo. He's extremely talented but that's that.
Thank God for art! Thank you Nick. You give us so much life in this band.

I like the way he scrunches up his eyes when he is considering a question. It's thoughtful and kind of cute

Me too mate. I’ll be taking my son and this will be his first Bad Seeds live experience.
@@AlienMortice Excellent. My daughter’s first BS gig too. Should be a good one.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Nick 🎂
Thanks for this fantastic event, that was driven by many intelligent questions and Nick's honest, humourous and likeable way of communicating !
Really enjoyed this, thank you.
Such a thoughtful and caring guy. Good sense of humour too.
Love Nick from UK ! ❤
Sun Forest is a song I want played at my funeral. Not the only one, just one of the ones. I have very eclectic tastes in music
Skeleton Tree into Ghosteen into Wild God.
What a trilogy!

I'm sure he feels the same way
VANCOUVER 5 11 2024 ! we will be there !
Ghosteen is a 10/10 album I hope Nick doesn't think that one live chat reflects the majority of listeners.

Have people forgotten about Boys Next Door? Most seem to think he started with Birthday Party.
Given that they were essentially the same band that just changed their name, I think most people just refer to them by the more common name
Me hubiera gustado estar ahi y hacer una pregunta a nikc ya q un momento inigualable es sin dudas la mejor noche para esos fans de Nick Cave

Awesome!
And hello from New Zealand.

Not a fashion victim. Class.
Help! Combien de temps dure un concert de Nick?
2,5h
Ghosteen was fantastic
🖤🖤🖤
I have a question Nick: What do you think of Matt Johnson's new album Ensoulment? I think it's brill.
Can the Cave Team post the q and a they did when the Ghosteen album was released?
❤❤🔥❤
The shoulder pads are so ‘Tender Prey’.
Release the cats!! As they say in Springfield, Ohio.

El siempre viste así, es su estilo, y por respeto a su público
@@maravargasbravo9665 My Spanish isnt great especially when you use the polysemic word asi ..that really throws me.
@@ptj767 I tell you that he always dresses like that, it is his style, formal and respectful of his audience, I don't want to get into controversy
@@maravargasbravo9665 my comment isnt about nicks dress sence ...
the sound of the album is recorded too loud i think, also have a couple of fade outs very abrupt, specially in Wild God, great album apart from that
Thank you for your creamy creations.
Ghosteen is amazing, some people need to get their ears checked.
Alice Cooper did what?
🤍
