  • I felt like doing a multilanguage, so here it is :D
I know that I didn't put the languages, but I thought it would be more of a challenge this way (It wasn't because I forgot it at first and then my video design was so beautiful I didn't want to add anything else xD)
Anyway, here is the order of the languages at least (They go on repeat in this order):
    1. Finnish
    2. Icelandic
    3. Norwegian
    4. Danish
    5. Swedish

Wow! All Nordic languages did an amazing job with this movie. All of the five singers are simply fantastic!

Icelandic is the best of the bunch, I just love his voice and performance! :D Stefan is wonderful.
Finnish and Swedish were also very great, Riki and Martin have powerful and emotional voices :D
Danish and Norwegian sound a bit too hoarse to me, not really a huge fan of them. I think I slightly prefer Norwegian though.
Are you thinking of making a ranking of the Spirit songs at all?

***** I agree with you, Icelandic is probably the best :)I had a spirit ranking on my old account and I love the songs, so maybe I'll do a ranking some day ^^

Stefan Hilmarsson just makes this song just prefect, suitable and youthful. Almost identical to the English one

I like Swedish and Finnish the most.
I don't know if I like Swedish, because I am Swedish, or if it's really good. But most people in the comments seem to like it so.
The Finnish is my favorite too. I think I like it even more than the Swedish xD.

This is another song that I'd recommend everyone to listen to the Greek version, I personally enjoy it so so much

    1. Finnish ( I think Riki is the best)
    2. Swedish ( great sound and lyrics )
    3. Danish/Icelandic ( both really good )
    4. Norwegian ( though I think Vegard has amazing voice, he doesn't sound that good in Spirit )

Lumi Tiikeri I totally agree with you. Icelandic was absolutely perfect!
Though I think Swedish comes on shared second place with Finnish, but that can be because it's my childhood version... ^^ But otherwise I fully agree with your reasoning. (And I'm glad you like the Swedish one~!)

Beautiful mix of beautiful song by great singer! Well I have a question. Are Danish, Swedish and Norwegian same? It is quite confusing. Anyway nice mix and trans.

    • @FeliciaGoldfire
      @FeliciaGoldfire  9 ปีที่แล้ว +6

Appa21 Thank you :) You mean if they're the same language? No they're not, even if they originate from the same language they differ quite a bit. As a Swede I can still understand both Danish and Norwegian though ^^
Danish, Swedish and Norwegian originate from the same old Norse language so a lot of the words are the same or very similar, but the grammar and the spelling is still so different between the languages that they're not exactly the same.
      I hope I made it clear :)

It always amuses me how you can hear/see the nations 'personality'/"stereotypes" in songs from animated movies (...and perhaps other movies too, I guess...?)
One example I remember is Iceland likes to use the words like storms and blizzard.
If I'm not mistaken I think Brave's song Touch the sky is portraying this rather well...? Either way, I think it's cute. ^v^ And amusing~.

Great multi :) this is my opition.
    1. Finnish (it is my version but I simply love it. It is perfect. Forever my number one)
    2. Icelandic (My second favourite of all versions)
    3. Swedish (It is great too)
    4. Danish (I don't care Danish version that much)
    5. Norwegian (same with Danish but it is less interesting)

I correctly predicted the order. Icelandic was easy to recognize because it's Stefan Hilmarsson singing that one.
