I am an introvert, and leaning towards more just antisocial as I have gotten older. For me, places like Disneyland are my favorite places on Earth. I love going alone, but it took quite a few trips to get to that point. When I started going I always thought people would be judging me. But after some trips, I have come to realize that nobody cares. It’s a place I just blend in and go along with the flow. There are SO many people there, people wont think about me 5 seconds after walking by them. It’s helped me get out more, and now I even sometimes have some great short conversations with cast members who are as happy as I am to be there.
Same! I go solo to Disneyland and other theme parks a lot, sometimes out of necessity, but it did take me a minute to be truly comfortable doing that. It is nice when you realize no one is looking at you or thinking about you. There's anonymity in the throng. And while there are frustrating encounters, there are also lovely ones like with cast members 🥰 So nice to meet another theme park introvert!
