    You are a good teacher, very clear and good at explaining complex issues so that it makes sense. Just an encouragement.

    Please make more videos, if possible covering the whole A level Philosophy specification if you can. These are so helpful!

      Hi I really hope you see this, have you found any other TH-camrs who cover AQA philosophy? I can’t find any specific to AQA anywhere!

    Wow! Just discovered these wonderful videos. I’ve always enjoyed philosophy, though never studied it formally. If I ever get around to doing so, then these videos, with your clear presentation and excellent subject matter, will be very helpful to me. Thx for sharing.

    Wow, very well presented.👏 Just to add another school of thought, in his book 'Good Knowledge, Bad Knowledge', Stephen Hetherington proposed jettisoning "justification" altogether, and advocated for getting rid of the whole "all or nothing" or "absolutist" approach to knowledge. Rather than setting some justificational "bar", above which is Knowledge, and below which is non-knowledge, he suggested that we instead view knowledge as a kind of "spectrum" or "continuum", ranging from very weak to very strong knowledge. While this would actually allow us to call any mere (even accidentally) true belief knowledge, it would also allow us to evaluate _how good_ the knowledge is. So, while accidentally true beliefs would still be considered knowledge, they would be considered extremely _weak_ knowledge, which could be strengthened and improved.

    Do you think you could do a video on the cosmological arguments?! X

    Could we say knowledge is uncoincidental, justified, true belief?

    • @sallylatham1886
      @sallylatham1886  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes that would be correct... if you are doing the A level you need to explain how to avoid coincidences, for example adding no false lemmas.

    In order to get good marks at A-Level, do we need to include both Gettier cases - the job interview case, and the 'Smith drives a Ford, my friend is in Barcelona' case?
    Thank you!

    • @sallylatham1886
      @sallylatham1886  ปีที่แล้ว

      My guess is that they will ask for a Gettier example and you can choose. I tell my students to have a favourite but know the other in case!

    could you do a run-over on rule and preference utilitarianism? the spec and certain sources are vague with what you actually need to know
