There ought to be a way to actually use a lighting console (or software), right? I've been looking for a way to make photorealistic stage lighting demos that don't look like the cartoony graphics of say, the GrandMA2 3D software. Also, kinda wanna do it without spending close to $2,000 on Depence2... Not going as well as I had hoped.
are there any plans to add the lens flares when you're looking at the lights ? that would really be the the last thing to make this perfect.. i do scenic design and have been working on something for it but haven't gotten it perfect but laying out lighting lines and changing focus and angles is a PITA normally haha as well as it changing the color/ brightness of the actual projected light when changing everything else?
@@fafig theres no good active lens flare setups seeing as the volumetrics are already being faked from the looks of it ? why not add that to it to complete the look :) long as it looks right who cares right haha
@@fafig I have shader i was messing with i could send over but i don't know anything about drivers really so idk if it'll help really it could definitely be better by the looks of even what you did haha

I developed a console edition also, blendermarket.com/products/blender-show-stage-lighting-console-edition, only for blender.
is there a way to use DMX/Art-Net signals to design performance as well in this? thx :)

Lens flare is the job of the camera, right?

@@digital0785 None drivers. just named attributes from geometry node to materials node.

I have problems with cycles, the lights all come with a black halo. How can I do?
You can increase transparent of light paths that will remove black block.
If there a way to use the lights without the mesh fixtures that they are attached too? Just the light itself. Thank you
You can cut off the beam nodesgroup in geometry nodes editor of the lights.
Or just use the volume option, the detail in my lastest video.

Hi, you just give some color and increase dimmer, the light will turn on, btw the stage lighting should run in blender 3.2 or above.
