      I'd rather call them tankmate territorial aggression problem. Fungus helps cleaning up the consequences, so it is not a problem.

      @@Fish-Story one of my favourite fish. where I'm from in the UK I've only ever seen one on sale once and I got it at about 4 inches long and had him about 7 years.
      that one is still the only one I've ever seen in real life. mine was a big gentle tank puppy. I was 20 years old and he was my first big fish. happy memories.

      Gotcha. Thank you for sharing this. You must have not had any other fish with your shark, have you? They are not known for mild manners to their tank mates. I didn't realize they are so rarely offered in the UK. They have been a staple in the hobby in the US for decades, and usually very cheap, like $5-$10.

      @@brockn7878 It's densely populated, yes, but they seem happy for the most part and this situation is temporary as you well know, until we build more tanks or some get adopted or else...
