These "boring stories" we are making are somehow "dangerous" haha because our idea was that people will have a good laugh before sleeping, then it would be easier to fall asleep we recon - yet again, some people tell us they are wide awaken because they laugh too much. So we are a bit cautious with these, as our main target is to help people fall asleep easier, yet again after all stress daily we are all going through it seems having a good laugh at the end of the day cannot be that "bad" :)))
I love this story, it just tickles my funny bone every time I listen to it. Yet I can't get through too much of it before slumbering overtakes me. Arif, your voice is so so soothing and mellow. I love all the Greek stories too. Thank you for helping me to sleep!
Arif + mythology = a restful mind of nightmare free sleep. I don't usually like the boring stories as much as your more authentic tales of heroes and legends. But a story featuring the king of the gods read by one of the kings of sleep stories is a must ❤
Zeus and all his "deeds" seemed a bit too much for an ordinary sleep story, we would have to add 7 trigger warnings haha, so we thought making a "boring" story of Zeus would be a better option. :))
My favorite bedtime stories are the 'boring' ones. I go to sleep VERY relaxed and happy. Kudos to the writer of these scripts.. And Arif is always wonderful.
I will say the writing style of this one was a little distracting at times, I don’t know if I like the ones with humor but I love that you guys have such a variety to choose from.
How about more stories about tall tales or more adventures of Robin Hood. Maybe the Wizard of Oz or how about the Unicorn by Kate Wiggin. Then of course there’s the Sword in the Stone, biblical story Noah’s Arc, and other ballet stories such as La Sylphide I’m just throwing it out there.
Okay I don’t comment on these but this one was too funny and I had to turn it off and play a different soothing pod 😂 after “chicken nuggets” I almost turned it off and then I was like okay…but then got hit with the “memory foam” and the “Rhea, being a normal person” and I had to go 💀 love y’all ❤
Hi arif just wanted to share some feedback from my son who enjoys falling asleep to your stories, however this time around he was a little put out by your sarcasm and insisted on another story 🤣 said it was “not helpful” and “quit the sass” Thanks for your stories they are very well enjoyed!
Loved it, though was startled into wakefulness by you stating that it was Artemis (goddess of the hunt) who leapt out of Zeus’s head, when it was Athena who was the goddess of wisdom and war and came out of her dad’s head. A deliberate mistake?
You are right! It was stated first that it was Athena, and later mistakenly was written Artemis, unfortunately not a deliberate mistake but more like "lapsus calami" . Good catch! And sorry for this :)
