Arguably the most technical Opeth song we've covered so far. The Moor is the whole package. It feels like it uses the entire guitar fretboard somehow (shoutout to the nasty harmonized riff at 2:24). Definitely one of our favourites from the amazing Still Life album. Which other song from Still Life would you like to hear next?
Just outstanding stuff as always, bravo!! loved every second of it, being an Opeth purist would've loved for you to play that intro 12 times hahaha 😂😂😂 Great rendition les gars vraiment superbe, bravooooo! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Love your work guys. Really impressive stuff. I'd love to see you guys cover april ethereal, the night and the silent water, or ghost of perdition sometime!
brilliant! Best the moor cover on youtube👏🏻 How long have you been playing guitar? And how long will it take me to learn this piece?( i have been playing for 6 months)
Thanks! Well it really depends on your motivation / consistency with your practice. We have been playing on and off for about 15(ish) years. But with enough time and motivation you could get good results in only a few months I’m sure
Yeah maybe… and again, it feels nice to just have the instruments sometimes. Although, it can get confusing for counting the number of riffs of a particular section, not having a vocalist.. 😅

Thanks Nabil for your comment, it is always appreciated.
I was thinking the same thing 😂
the riff that starts at 3:55 sounds so sick on acoustic.
It really does!
Thank you for another gift. Always love your covers, and of course, you nailed it
Thanks a lot!

Hey Crabbylegs, thanks a lot! That means a lot :) You’re in for a treat because we aim to cover those at some point. Definitely on our bucket list
It would be amazing if you guys cover such awesome acoustic song To Bid You Farewell.
Hey Turgen, we already covered that one! Check it out on our Opeth playlist!

i thought i was the only gay who covers opeth songs and literally adore them xd . my deppresion is over .war is over guys
😄
How long did you study the whole song?
Several days, decrypting the acoustic middle part was a bit painful!
If you find a vocalist it will be a next step in your covers
Yeah maybe… and again, it feels nice to just have the instruments sometimes. Although, it can get confusing for counting the number of riffs of a particular section, not having a vocalist.. 😅
Where are you guys from?
We hail from the land of baguettes, oui-oui’s, and omelettes du fromage!
The song is amazing, but unfortunately due to specific structures of most of the riffs sounds not that good on acoustic guitars.
Strongly disagree here! Also, it’s one of the most enjoyable ones to play, especially the first half IMO
