Hey I wanted to know exactly what password do we type in when we’re at the final deactivate step because I was just testing Shopify out just on the free trial and I didn’t realize they had charged me but I didn’t actually want the full subscription yet so I’m trying to deactivate before it charges me again and every time I try to type in the password that is supposed to be auto saved it keeps turning Red and saying incorrect password so where do we actually get the password from to shut down
Once I deactivated the store I was not able to go back in and delete the payment methods (maybe because shopify changed some things since this video was produced). But other than that everything worked.

Sir i didn't took subscription,nor any installment,nor work in my Shopify store..its just inactive n i cudnt delete after free trial i got bored didnt want to do .will they anyway charge me even if no settings done n my account like that left but shows inactivee
@@BuilderBeeTV no other option to do there, we have to pay total invoice bill 😞 and after that we can deactivate permanently store. Otherwise it remains and charge every month or year of our billing activity
@@BuilderBeeTV hello guys.. have you solved the problem? actually they want to charge me despite I closed shopify, I got message for the subscription renewal, but luckily i have no balance in the bank account, so now im really worrying about when some money deposit in my bank account they will deducted, my last hope was to change they paying method to another bank account that i don't use. and btw, I spoke with the customer service 3 times about this, and each one of them say we closed your account and we guarantee that you will not be charged anymore. so let's see
What if you have bought store domain name? Will I still be charged for the domain if I cancel my shopify subscription? If not how do I cancel the domain subscription that I bought from shopify. I did not buy any apps for shopify.

Change payment method before you deactivate your store

But for me it only says replace like what yours says and it doesnt have a remove or delete option.
That means you don’t have a paid store on that account
Or if you do it’s asking to replace the payment method.

I have apps installed that charge me every month if I deactivate my account will those apps still charge me?
So. It looks like you actually need to cancel those apps first. Then cancel the store.
Is Shopify refund subscription amount?
