Excellent! I couldn't have said it better myself! :) Symphony of the Night is a true masterpiece, and I consider myself very lucky that I had the chance to discover and play this game. I'm afraid I didn't use at all the demon familiar. If I remember correctly I used mostly the flying little lady, because she could give me health potions in case of emergency. I always "play defence". I guess that's my personal gaming style. haha!
aaah this game! I loved it to death! I played the PSP version in that on Maria (who is my second favorite next to Alucard) and Rictor are playable. and one extra Familiar that was absent returns. I put may hours into this game it has great music and gameplay that is a beautiful blend of RPG and platform it is just great and still is to this day. Heh I have not seen another game pull this off still yet as perfect as this one. I managed to level up to lv86 in this and all familiars max.
Best one is demon familiar!!! when he gains levels his attacks become more lethal and he begins using sweet magic plus I love his persoanlity oh please tell me you will use the demon in this playthrough right? and sorry for double comment I`m just so excited to see this game again!!

Καλά κι εγώ καταλαβαίνω ελάχιστα από την ιστορία ενός παιχνιδιού, γιατί κι εγώ δεν μπορώ να παρακολουθήσω τα περίπλοκα Αγγλικά σε κάποια παιχνίδια και δεν πολυπροσέχω κιόλας. Γενικά στο Castlevania υπάρχει μια οικογένεια, ένα σόι, οι Belmont, οι οποίοι είναι κυνηγοί βρυκολάκων, και κάθε τόσο σκοτώνουν τον κόμη Δράκουλα στο κάστρο του, μέχρι που θα αναστηθεί πάλι και θα τον ξανασκοτώσουν. Νομίζω δεν χρειάζεται να ξέρει κανείς κάτι περισσότερο για την σειρά, απλά σκοτώνεις τέρατα και προχωράς. 🙂Το συγκεκριμένο παιχνίδι είναι σε στυλ god of war παλιό και «δανείζεται» ιδεες -για να το πω ευγενικά και από το Shadow of the Colossus.

One of my favorite games of all time. It makes me more of a Castlevania fan than I ever was.
The opening, ambience and music is made for you to feel the need to go through the stairs running.
