I’m a Shopify and Etsy seller too. I’d love to see more Shopify videos, specifically covering if you funnel clients from Etsy to Shopify. Also, how do you drive traffic and do follow up with customers on Shopify. I have Loox and it’s helping but wanted to know if there’s another avenue I could take.
Yes :) I really wouldn’t steal the traffic away until your shop is super optimized but if you are at that point after you ask them to follow you on IG post purchase you can DM a coupon code that drives to Shopify but I would not do that if your website is not optimized
Hey Hannah - first, your content is AMAZING. I had a great shop a few years ago (5000 sales) but I ran it to the ground during a season when I got super overwhelmed. I have a big section of 1 star reviews (rightfully earned). All of those orders are closed, years have passed, and I am thinking about getting back in the game (having learned some important lessons on not taking on more than I can fulfill). Do you think I should start a completely new store? Or go with the old one that has good age and good sales but a lot of bad reviews?
Would love to hear more on this. I am in a similar space where I am already maxing out my space and looking into complimentary products. This content is very relevant to me.
Boy, clamping down on ROAS hits home! Our marketing spend was 14% last year, we dialed it up for Q4, which drove sales and was a good idea, but then we let the Etsy Ads budget ride in Jan and Feb, and the spend was 27%! Lesson learned. We like your goal of less than 10% and now are dialing back the March spend per day. BTW we use POD and our ROAS break even is about 3X. 🙂 Thanks for sharing your strategies!
Thank you for sharing, but I think there is some confusion, I would not toggle your ad spend up and down you want to be maxed out always but with toggling listings on and off. If you launch a bunch of new listings, this could cause the rise of the marketing cost percentage since you have to invest in those listings to see what’s working.
I have an Etsy shop and just switched my web site from Big Commerce to Shopify. I am finding the size of my orders is increasing on Shopify but would like a video on how to drive more traffic to my Shopify store. Thanks
Hi! Your video came up after another one I was watching, and I just had this running in the background. I'm glad I was listening, because I have been considering opening a 2nd store, BUT I'm not doing great on my first one. Someone that's stolen one of my designs is selling more than I am. I've only sold one thing :( But I'm hoping now I've got a couple of shop reviews that things will change a bit.
Im the type of person that learns better with structured learning.📖📚 Id love to learn for free, but I do think there’s more details and order in taking a course. Plus I’m way too easily distracted on YT😂…everything is everywhere. I’d like to see an A to Z playlist for Etsy POD.
Hi Hanna , I’m falling apart 😢, my sales stoped almost to nothing I want to say I get maybe 4 order a week when I was getting maybe from 4 to 7 a day , I know is not great but better then now, I don’t know what I did wrong, I keep on waiting when I heard from you tubers that sales were slow after Christmas for me for still nothing What do you remember me to do ?
With every business, there are high and low times of the year and what that is specific to you you can only learn by getting a good data sample of time under your belt, if you are doing all the right things and have competitive listings, you can only continue to add fuel to the fire by continuing to grow the business with new products , do not get too caught up in low sales days analyze your business month over month and a bigger time period. If sales have completely dipped for months on end, then there’s something wrong with the product Offerings
I started my shop november 20th,2023. (4 months) i have 17 sales. im not upset, i know it takes time. no personalized items, only POD and only shirts. Should i "master" that one product, Seo, Better designs, and everything else with this shop OR should i move on and leave it as it is (still keeping it active) while starting a fully personalized shop with a bigger niche than im on?
It’s hard to say without having more information. If the new products you wanna launch makes sense for your existing store I would keep the momentum in your store already.
Hey, I just wanted to let you know that you’re doing a great job and I had a quick question that I have heard that that affirmation card doesn’t make much profit on Etsy. is that true?
@@EcomHannah ok awesome so goal should be 10% overall add spend to gross profit? I think I’m like 40% add spend to gross profit currently so yikes. lol. Maxed at $1,000 per day. But because we are 1-of-a-kind ad gets turned off once sold. I’ll keep watching your viddys. We’ll get it figured out. Got about 200 listings on Etsy. I’ll pop that to 1,000 (from Shopify) in the next couple months. ;)
the % is what ever makes sense to you, 10% is what we want but maybe your profit is so good that its not realistic, you see its not one size fits all. @@christinejones9815
Fair lol it could be any of Etsy own automations or your emails. Where I am going with this is, find the money on the backend and not trickling your traffic flow 😊 Let me help you with Facebook and Google ads too :) 🎉
Okay thank you so much 😌 but mam I have another question There are 435 listings on my shop, still view come 10 to 20 times every day, why is this so, I have also entered the keywords well.

thank you for watching
I would love a video on how to trim down negative or irrelevant keywords. Or how to prevent them.
Sounds good!
I would love to see more Shopify content as well. Also, can’t wait until your tech/platform is available. I’m really excited about that.
Awesome and thank you sooo much :)

More Shopify please especially on driving traffic through methods other than ads

It’s not that I’m dialing back the spend. It’s that I’m dialing back What is spending
But overall, thank you for watching 🙌🏼
@@EcomHannah Gotcha! Makes sense!

yes this is bound to happen in ecom you can not avoid it in any niche, if the design is exactly the same try to report it to etsy
Very interested in learning more about shopify

Soooooo… roas? Does it apply to one of a kind. Btw my shops done over 30k in 4 months. SERIOUSLY all because of you. Still learning … my ad spend 😅
This is awesome ! Target roas is based on your net profit % before marketing :) so it’s specific to your products

Thank you!! We already do all our own media buying but thank you!
Shopify can be difficult, expensive and confusing. Specially if you dont have a social media following for your business.
100%!
But my product costs between $20 and $35, so how many dollars of ads should I run per day? answer please.
Like I mention its not one size fits all, watch my full ads trainings so you can learn whats right for your use case
its not only about sale price there are other variables you need to consider in low margin spaces
I understand what you are saying but tell me should I run the advertisement or not?
100% yes but you may want to be more strict on your thresholds if in a low margin space or only focus on performing listings @@BikeRacing9214
