I just took the clip from 12x11 and removed the soundtrack (Touch by Sleeping at Last) so that I can use the dialog in videos I make. I am happy to share it with you.

The look on April face when he said that this is one of the simpler divorce. This just breaks my heart.
I believe April made right choice by not telling him before divorce because I rather father of my child be there for my child and not stay with me because of other children he wants to be with me for me
Same, I can't understand the hate April gets for doing that. It's one of the things I admired most about her. She was the one who wanted to stay with Jackson more than anything. She had the best opportunity to get her to stay with him but she didn't take it up.

@@cityboydanny1758 aaaaaahgggggg, people talk about Jackson like he's a saint when the two of them hurt each other, Jackson couldn't bear that what April needed to heal wasn't him, The way April tried to fix and repair the marriage and Jackson just didn't care breaks my heart. She didn't abandon him, he just gave up the second things got tough. And the situation of the meaningless sex in Montana, also broke my heart, not to mention moving on so easily with the most annoying character in the show (Maggie🤢). Jackson punished April after the divorce several times, and when everybody included him attacked her calling her an "opportunist" and "traitor" for taking a job opening that needed to be filled? And when he slept with her and never spoke of it afterword? Or when she confronted him about it in tears and he just sat there doing nothing? That was really mean, she was crying in front of him and he just didn't care at all
@@angierocio8852 I gotta disagree with the beginning Jackson literally waited a year for her to come home when she was actually suppose to stay for 3 months in the army, he had to hold his feelings in and push it to the side to help her, she never once asked if he was okay, or how he was doing, if he tries to communicate she walks away so that situation you really can’t truly blame Jackson for giving up, the second time he did have a point about staying their and helping at the hospital but when he decided to go it was to late
@@tanaywilson2181 Jackson never told April that he was going to ask for a divorce when she went to Jordiana, he only told her when she wanted to go again, already in Seattle, and she didn't went again after that low ultimátum, and even though she'd stay, Jackson gave her no chance to save their marriage and put all the blame on April. No one's blaming him, actually everyone's blaming April but if she hadn't left their marriage would have been extremely unhappy. She was broken, and they both hurt each other
And to think even Sara and Jesse (the actors playing April and Jackson) didn’t want their characters to divorce 😭

Jackson broke HER heart?! Ok 🤣 Let's just ignore the fact that she left him to grief by himself and just up and noped out of his life for some good samaritan army bs even though he was literally telling her that he needed her. She would just completely ignore his cries and desperation and continue to do so, never considering the possibility that he was hurting terribly, never thoroughly apologizing for her selfishness. Incredible. They both lost their child but April would always act like she was the only one hurting and needing something to hold onto. This season she really pissed me off, and I usually love her!

I can't believe they played with fan's heart so much. First they gave us an iconic love story. Then breaks them up and above that marries her off with mathew. And after April left, they again play with our hearts in season 15 where jackson regrets his choices and then in 17 where he talks about pushing the wife away and admitting not getting her over ever.
But im glad and thankful that they gave them back to us. "Fingers crossed for new horizons" ✨
This just showed how much of a spoiled child he is,and this coming from somebody who likes him.
He gave up something he really wanted to make sure his ego was protected. I mean he divorced April because he couldn't accept or admit that even tho he was hurt for her leaving, (after losing her baby) he still loved her and wanted to be with her. To him she'd win if he confessed,yet this way they both lost.
Look carefully at Jackson's eyes when April walks away. There are tears in his eyes. Why would he be crying if he didn't care? If he was just a spoiled entitled child who wants his own way? And when April asks "do you want this?" he doesn't really answer her. He just looks down. I think, for all the anger and stubborn pride, he really does love her and I don't think he REALLY wanted to divorce her. I can't remember what led up to this, but l say he still has feelings for her.
Well now season 15 he admitted it and in a way I am glad April is married now and Jackson is grieving over her, she was grieving for full 2 seasons.... his turn now and I hope it never ends...
I was on Jacksons side of this divorce. April left him twice. Fair enough she had to grieve in her own way. But she was acting like Jackson's pain didn't count at all. It really wasn't a marriage anymore
@@jennabos2292 they were both suffering but the problem here was communication really. They weren't communicating, he told her to go and kept telling her that he understood that she needed that to grieve Samuel, which was made her believe that he meant it when he really didn't. But he grew up spoiled, not knowing what it felt like to not get female attention even when he said he didn't want it, so he didn't know how to handle his emotions and his grieving process. They both took it out on each other and that was okay, up until he gave in and slept with her, when she'd already accepted that it was over and then ignored her and her feelings out of revenge. She gave him everything, even the divorce he asked for out of spite yet didn't really want (he honestly just wanted her to beg), knowing she was pregnant after he, again, gave her hope and then chased another woman. I couldn't be on Jackson's side because even though they both destroyed their marriage, he alone destroyed their friendship, and the only reason they got it back was because of Harriet and because of April's amazing aptitude to forgive those who hurt her

If i was april, i would've quit the hospital and left town and start a new life far away with my baby. After a while i would've told jackson the truth, when i'm ready, and he would choose to come visit if he wanted or share custody if he wanted. But keep seeing him everyday at the Hospital? No no.

April had to leave for her survival but that left Jackson alone.. can't really blame anyone..If april stayed it would've destroyed her and when she didn't it destroyed him and she really did it twice. Remember that he has abandonment issues so can't blame him also. He really thought he wanted the divorce to be not hurt anymore. He was sure that April will hurt him again. And thought its the best way coz they are two different people.
It just took him too late to know what he wanted and by that time April got married to someone..else.
He regrets everything at last and grieves for what could've been and what harrirt would've got if he didn't push her away and realized that he can't ever get over April. She is always the one. But she was married and he couldn't do anything and thought she was also happy so he didn't wanna ruin anything.
But i do think that Jackson loves April more than she loves him. First pregnancy scare and he really was hurt to see her reaction. So he tried to move on. But he couldn't and stood up at her wedding.
Second time..she left for Jordan. He really waited for a year even if he was suffering but she had to leave again. He was really afraid because only April had the power to hurt him like this. That's why he thought it will be best to not be together.. To protect himself from more hurt.
Then after Harriet was born again they had the chance to get back together. But he couldn't because he was afraid. So he went after other women. I think he just want to move on from April so that he won't get hurt again.
Then when April nearly died he lost it but by that time she has moved on and he didn't want to ruin her life again and so he supported her.
And then it was TOO LATE and he became so so messed up with the new found faith and realisation of his doings that ruined their chances of being a family. He really tried to move on from April but still couldn't. He couldn't ever get over her.
He wanted her to be happy but he also didn't want her to be happy with someone else and its clear from the 17×14 episode.

This show.... DANG the writers really did us japril shippers wrong... Plus always making Jackson look like the bad guy all the time.... But I have no idea how many times April hurt him but we can forgive her so easily.... Then the writers have to make him even worse every time... Now they are making make out and like his step sister... Ewwwwwww disgusting... Lol oh and make April move on to the guy she left at the altar... Hahaha how unrealistic... I know Sarah is leaving and all. And you don't want to kill her off cuz she has way too many fans you'll piss off... The writers half way through season 12 the made Jackson look like an asshole and kept making April in so much pain unnecessarily and broke them apart numerous times... This is when writing on greys anatomy started to get lazy. Not only is this like the fourth couple on the show to get married and divorced, it also lacked the older, smarter Greys writing that still tugs at your heartstrings without packing so little surprises. You just go on a depressing journey with the characters and know exactly where this is ending up and have no choice but to suffer through it. It’s still sad, but lazy writing type of sad. Not the same type of sad as early Greys.
