As someone who dabbles in a little bit of competitive, you can't go into a ranked match and expect for people to not try, especially when there's a cosmetic reward. Besides it also depends on what rank you are.

Man these free glider tournaments R crazy bugged...it didnt pop up for me at 1st eventually after a few mins it popped up but that weird symbol is the cup thats what was visible after i did my 1st game so idk....wasnt there problems last time w/ diamond lobbys or something hopefully it gets fixed

Thank you for explaining the cups today! I had no idea it was taking place, and I'm not a sweaty player, but I thought the free glider would be cool. So, I played a regular ranked game and got 0 points and didn't understand why. Then, I Googled and saw this second video explaining that you have to enter through the particular game mode under Epic. That solved it for me. I'm on PC, so the thumbnails were there. I bushcamped and got 100 points in 4 matches, so now, thanks to you, I'm awaiting my new glider! Have a great weekend!
I know the fix if you want to fix it first you have to join a person in a lobby that already has the cup selected and then you leave and you can play it and after about 30 minutes it will show up under by epic thats what worked for me because i had the same problem

Kinda late but im in platinum and the normal battle royale platinum ranked cup wasn’t working for me but different, I got one match in, almost won and then it kept saying “queue is full” the next match and I was match making for 10 minutes before I switched to zero build and thankfully that worked I play on PlayStation too
How does the ranking work with the umbrella. If I get the umbrella from zero build tournament will my build rank transfer over? Can I get higher rank after I earn the umbrella?

Im kinda sorta hoping they give the umbrella as compensation for these issues in one way or another. Like, dont get me wrong i can understand why that wouldnt feel fair to those who earned it, but still i feel like getting these ranked rewards can be kinda difficult for the average joe and non competitive players like me. They've done it in the past too, but i guess we'll see how it goes.

Tabor, the skybound longboard is a bit bugged when I'm landing on a mountain to the east the board stops me from moving when in forced glide
Nah that’s just the mountains in that area being glitchy. They affect all people gliding around the area, or at the least a lot of gliders.

I had this issue and messaged epic and they didn’t know why, but when I swapped to switch it worked

It works if you change your region in the compete tab - that’s what I did

You need to check in settings it's not on auto but on your region where you live, I changed it from auto to eu and got the possibility to play it

The only way I could get it to show up was when I went to settings and restored every tab to default and then it showed up
