Thank you this is exactly what I was looking for ! Is there any way to fix the copper part of the plug without replacing...? I accidentally plugged back on a wet socket and the tip of the copper part is damaged like yours in the video. It's for TV and I would like to know if there's a way to fix without replacing.

      You are welcome.
I think replacing it would be very difficult for you, as it's so small and so fixed to the adapter pins.
Wires in your outlet are pinching this copper part of your plug, that's why this needs to be strongly connected to the cable.
Just invest in a new cable, it will be much safer. 👍👍

I've just had my laptop charger spark today and it only has a little , I think burnt, brown spot on it should I replace it?

I can tell you only my experience, I also have some adapters that spark sometimes, I don't replace them until I see that spark every time I plug it in. Plug dust is really hard to clean and this also causes your adapter to spark.
But that black spot will get bigger over time and eventually, you will have to change it. Good luck 👍

It has an analog linear power supply powering chopper circuit that chops the 240vac and converts it to 5vdc. That's why it sparks.

My phone charger started to spark, it happens everytime i plug it in, and its a bit burned on metal parts also what should I do?

    • @rookie.handyman

The best thing you can do is to change it, and buy a new one because if it’s already burned on the tips, it will spark more and more over time.
Sometimes sparks happen because of dust collection in the plugs, but if you have a burned-out charger, then this is the main reason.

@@rookie.handyman I kinda cleaned it with fingers it doesnt spark for now it has very very little of those black marks almost imposible to see, I dont want to replace it cus its new and I payed 50 dollars

@edit.clips. Then it was probably dust collection from your outlet, try to clean your outlet by blowing some air into it or clean it with a vacuum cleaner.
If your adapter is not damaged then don't change it 👍👍

Wow 😵‍💫😵‍💫 then you definitely need to change something, either the socket or the adapter itself. Good luck with it and I hope everything works fine 👍👍

It will work for sure, but over time you need to fix it, if you neglect it, it can easily cause fire!

    • @rookie.handyman
      @rookie.handyman  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@miriabdullayev1551 best to check your outlet, it can be that your outlet has some dust in it and that is causing the sparks. If you don't see any visible damage in your PS5 cable cord then there is no need to change it. Try different outlets. 👍
