Hotel Route Inn Kaminoyamada Onsen | hot spring and the ruins of Arato Castle

I stayed at Hotel Route-Inn Kamiyamada Onsen in Kurakamiyamada Onsen.
Tokura-Kamiyamada Onsen is a hot spring village located in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, about halfway between Nagano Station and Ueda Station at Tokura Station.
Kaminoyamada Onsen has a 120-year history since its opening and is famous as a "hot spring for beautiful skin" because of the quality of its spring water.
Once a thriving entertainment district, it has fallen on hard times like other hot spring resorts with the recession.
It is said that there are about 50 different types of hot springs in the area, and the large bathroom of the hotel where we stayed was a natural hot spring from which three different types of sources were drawn.
In addition, the nearby Arato Castle Ruins, which have been realistically restored, allowed us to experience a time-slip back to the Warring States Period.
I could enjoy the hot springs and history very much. I was delighted with this trip also, so I will visit more hot spring resorts and make some unexpected discoveries.
