Absolutely loved Rupali on SvS when it originally aired back in 2005. I was 22 and I remember telling myself that despite being young and in the presence of veterans like RPS and SS, she could very much hold her own as Monisha.

Anupama started on a good note. But it should have been a limited series. That is where tv soaps lose the context. Anyway, there are quite a few tv actors who are way talented and need recognition. Good to see Rupali being one of the top talented actors

Anupama is just the same story of a Marathi serial 'Aai kuthe kay karte' on Star Pravah. The cast of Marathi show is excellent as well. Anupama is such a relatable character. Rupali Ganguly is favorite since childhood. Her voice modulation is awesome. ❤ Always love your podcasts @Ranveer.
Anupama story is also related to Bengali serial 'sreemoyee'.
Both Anupama and the marathi version are made by the same production house from the remake on Sreemoyee

My only reason for living this life is my parents and kids before watching anupama.but now I learn to live for myself. Actually ye Anupama serial is copied from a Marathi serial Aai kuthe kay karte... means maa kaha kuch karti hai ..the lead role is Arundhati with 3 kids, 2 boys one gal, an ego centric husband of pateriarcal society who has an affair later married that lady , mother in law same like her son, father in law is a very understanding person.... And the drama goes on but very Beautiful serial

I have a Joint family of 8 , from which 3 are out for job and studies, so am I, but we all still watch Anumapa and love to discuss it when we talk during the day.😂
