I find the paper you print on makes the most difference. This is due to the sizing on the paper, and the printer's setting to print on to those surfaces. If you have Canon printer, get their photo paper and set printer setting to print on the specific surface. I find printing on cotton watercolor paper will become dull, because the paper absorbs more of the ink. I have yet to try printing on a paper with more sizing.

It would be interesting to see what effect you could achieve if you spray the paper before printing. I think less ink would be absorbed into the paper, thereby resulting in a brighter more saturated finish. 🤔

Thanks for this video ^^ I do have a question regarding the laquer spray....isn't it going to affect the archival quality? (I mean getting yellower with the time?)

I think at 03:23 you could turn on snapping it would not crop and it would fit the a4 page.

That’s an interesting idea - but where are you turning on the snapping feature? Is it in Procreate or in the software for the printer?

I have a Pixma 5050 and the Canon Print app and I can print wirelessly to my iPad. It is a couple of years old and did cost more than €50 but its a wifi printer and I am sure there is a newer model which is available now.

You definitely can just use the cannon print app to use these printers from an iPad I have a 7 year old version of this printer that was cheap back then and can do it

Any E-printer can be used with an iPad via wireless. I use a HP A3 all the time.
