Hi. Which model will you recommend to buy in second hand honda city- 2013 (3rd Gen ) or 2014/15/16(4th Gen ). I don't get why there's significant difference between 2013 and 2014 onward models. On olx 3rd gen is 3-4 L & 4th gen 2014/15/16 - 6-7.5L .

Just to correct u sir, u will get partial sun roof opner in verna sx. To do that u need to press the button in center neither front nor back and it will open. I always do it in my verna

one major issue with the city is that they have made the dashboard completely vertical and when light falls on the dash it reflects on the windshield
and I feel the water duct for the wiper is small, btw do u get leather upholstery in the Verna in SX variant?

Please take Honda City on a road trip to Uttarakhand ( Mukteshwar etc) Or Himachal ( Manali, Jibhi) if you can. No other video on TH-cam shows Honda city ground clearance on hills and practicality. It will be a great great help for all of us who are considering to get a Honda City.

Both are best cars, both are my dream cars and both are my super cars, but sorry Verna, I love City more than verna but 1 second Verna, I love Verna more than Ciaz.

I saw many of your videos and I am disappointed by the fact that Honda City 2020 is producing so much noise. Actually this car is my childhood crush (like many others) and now I am planning to buy it. I have wanted this car so much that I am not even comparing it with other cars. But I am troubled by the noise problem that you and many other reviewers (DDS channel) are reporting. Would you say that the noise problem is a deal breaker? Or it can be ignored in preference for the other features of this car?
There is no noise in the car ,,, I have driven this car around 10 thousand km ,,, but didn’t find any disturbing notice ,,, You can also do Test Drive it will help you
Forget DDS, they come in Bolero Diesel car and complain of noise in City 5th gen, what an irony? The only problem I ever saw with Honda city was 6 months maintenance schedule until 4th gen, but now with 5th gen it is 10k or 1 year like others, big relief. City still stands out in Sedans and Compact SUV segment, you compare it left or right but it is most VFM and premium car. I agree with this guy, as he is extra careful and sensible while driving City, that’s true this car reflects its stature on your personality to become more sensible and mature driver.
hi friends, i own a 5th generation cvt top end..get the tyres upgraded to 195/55 r16, paid oil change in the first service itself so the metal sludge is drained, worth 4mm at least underbody wurth and wheel arches coating to reduce noise .and if u feel the noise incabin should be reduced go for 3m sound damping.game changer!

Yes actually my dealer still is short of seat covers for new honda city. I dont knw what the exact reason is. They said they will arrange for them within December end. :)

Thanks. Honda has asked for some time to order some parts and then they will try with those new parts and see if that solves the problem. This was the message from Honda Factory to the Dealer here. But still not sure and they have asked for some time. I will make an update video as soon as I get any information from them.

No there is no restriction. Dealership must have given you a temporary registration and that works till you get permanent registration. Just carry your delivery challan with you. Happy drives.! :)

Hi Sir, just wanted to point out that even Verna has the option to lift the sunroof at the back.. just try pushing the sunroof switch upward and it will work. :)

Brother I have honda city...and the rear camera is best in quality because I have top diesel model in which I also get rear sunshade...and you will get full led's in the car like front lights are so attractive and inside the car u will also get leds which u never get in Verna...please make a vedio in which u have top model city because in top model u will find the luxury inside with full leather finishing seats and windows 🙏

Verna SX gets only two airbags and there is no ESP, TC, or Hill hold. Honda city base model itself gets 4 airbags, ESP, TC, and Hill hold. The city VX gets 6 airbags. So, in terms of safety, there is no match between the lower or mid variants of the city and Verna as the city is much superior. The top variant of Verna SX(O) gets all these safety features, but it is pricey just like the City. So, for lower and mid variants, the city is a no brainer if you prioritize safety over frills.

Sir, today I have taken test drive of city...I have seen a cover under engine which is hitting speed breakers....I have never seen it in any of ur videos....is city's engine lower than the under body ? Or it's just cover ? It's bothering me a lot. I'm about to book honda city vx. Kindly respond

Don't worry sir ...it's just stone guard hitting ground...it's provision for protecting vital parts...in sedans when one needs to cross big bumps, keep it very slow and move diagonally as far as possible
Brother, I have been using Tata manza aura ABS qudrajet Diesel car since 2010 & want to replace with new car. But confused between creta e Diesel and verna sx petrol and city v petrol. Monthly running approx 1000 to 1200 km mostly in city & occasionally highway & offroading. Plz suggest which one to buy.
Go for City..I have it Absolutely Perfect car in every sense..You will never regret..

I'm also having 5th gen but I've a few issues like.. the dashboard is too shiny it reflects to front windshield and reduces the visibility when Sun is at a particular angle

Does the SX trim have telescopic steering adjustment? This is a very important feature to me and showroom isn't giving much clarity.
No, it is only adjustable for rake (tilt), but not for reach.! SX(O) is adjustable both rake and reach.!

Honda City offers best in class safety features, which just gives it a clear advantage over Verna SX. But then there are some compromises on the build quality, where the Verna beats City for sure.
I would say if your budget allows, you should go for the City VX as you are a family of 5 and City VX offers safety for all, whereas the Verna SX just offers a couple of front airbags.

I test drived both city and Verna at a time ....Verna drive is smoother and silent. Shoulder room at back is same for both, only leg room is much more in city. We have to drive city bit cautious as it's long. Also I observed road noise in city. I'm 5'8" I'm comfortable with Verna at back seat. And I booked verna. Finally you could decide only after test drive.

I personally like Verna more.! But both are fantastic cars, I like the Honda city as well, its so classy to drive, but then you asked me to pick one.
Why I picked Verna: It offers a bit more punchy engine, and feels tough and gives you more confidence over bad roads.
