Me too man... I got overcast the day it came out.. my brother drove me to buy it in Minneapolis for my birthday gift! I always loved that the first line of the album is "hence forth; step within my psycho analysis"... 😂. I stepped in and been listening to his psycho analysis for 25 years. Slug and ant are legends to me.
Fil, these guys are on the level with their musicality, such great tunes, bars for all.

Man Atmosphere has been there for me for some hard years. He's truly RAP-- Rhythm And Poetry. A real poet and storyteller. Love to see others discover the genius of both Slug and Ant. There's a huge catalog of Atmosphere to get into, I could suggest 20 songs right now off the top. Also many Rhymesayers artists are criminally underrated. Highly suggest.

They put underground hip hop on the map, straight out of Minneapolis along with the rest of the Rhymesayers Crew. This song got me through a lot of dark dark times.
Another game changer who is gone too soon was a genius named Eyedea (also a member of Rhymesayers) The lyrics he spits will make your brain break.
