The method to get the awakening item during part 1 and part 2 are different, In part 1, you have to get the awakening item from the essence (B tier item, basically luck) In part 2, you'll get one from mail for every 6 pulls you did in the crossover essence which is more consistent and doesn't rely on luck. To awaken A skin, you need 10 of this awakening item. To awaken S skin, you need 30. During the rerun I'm not sure which method they'll use, but my guess is the mail method from part 2, hope this helps
I think after counting, you need to open 180 essence to awaken S tier skin (ren and pancakechi) around 60 essence for A tier skin. I wish they made it cheaper not 1 soul resistance every 6 pull just to awaken these skins :'(
